Description: Tall, imposing and darkly beautiful, Andromeda has a slender frame and lithe limbs that move with barely contained power. Her hair is the color of rich honey, and her gaze a pale blue that pierces to the bone. Some might say she possesses a classical beauty with her high cheekbones and full lips that are equally likely to offer a mild smirk or purse in discontent. Her neutral expression just isn't, though it doesn't quite peak the summit to that of a permanent scowl. The Southeastern Saffron native has skin brazenly kissed by the sun, bronzed in a most flattering fashion and a thoroughly impressive physique as already mentioned. Usually the woman carries herself with a quiet confidence - letting deeds speak as much as words. Typically, when not commanded to by her Praefecta to wear something more enticing, the woman wears her Proscipi segmenta - clearly more comfortable in armor than she is wearing a dress. Although she does look quite charming wearing one, though.
Personality: Andromeda is a regal woman who knows what she wants in life and there is little that will change her mind once she is decided on anything, although she is not unreasonable and is always willing to adapt. The Sword of Tremorus is fierce when on the field of battle or dealing with those she feels are lesser than herself. She does possess a sense of humor, of course, but it's very dry and sarcasm is her weapon of choice during social engagements. Among warriors, sailors, and brash types she is charming and inspiring in a way that is hard to put a finger on for most everyone else. Despite her years of experience on the field of battle, she has maintained her honor, dignity, respect and compassion for people who do so love one of their greatest Heroes. True bloodshed is not something she reaches for so easily even though she -does- enjoy a bit of violence from time to time to keep her wits about her. Within reason, of course.
Andromeda has always been athletically inclined, coordinated and possessed of a strong build. Her resilience, however, was something that needed work. She'd always been described as soft of heart, and while her mother assured her there was nothing wrong with that, she warned her about kindness and mercy. These are principles that warriors of Andromeda's caliber simply can't afford. Everyone who knew her growing up remembers a time in which the apprentice Sword was idealistic, maybe even naive.
That all changed when she was taken captive during a battle waged against the enemies of Tremorus. A particularly brutal tribe of Abandoned spent months torturing her for information they could use to fight against their enemies in turn. She was never allowed a moment of peace, but they knew that at the very least their "noble" hostage needed to remain whole enough to be used in negotiations if it came down to it. Andromeda managed, after a lengthy confinement, to trick her gaoler into letting her out. When she got her hands on a sword, it was only a matter of time. She slaughtered everyone who got in her way, and then she slaughtered everyone else at the holding. They call it the Night of Long Screams, and it is a tale that has endured in the history of the Proscipi.
When Andromeda returned to her people she wasted no time in informing her kinsmen of the knowledge she had gathered while being kept prisoner; enemy movements and other inside information that allowed them to smash the opposition on every front. In the final battle she fought their Champion one on one with the stipulation that the victor takes all -- despite the protestations of her brother Remus who felt it was pure folly. Andromeda's cold methodology and skill with a blade allowed her to carve through him like a cake. After which, of course, the rest of the clan quickly disarmed and bent the knee. The shattered blade of her foe remains on display in the museum of the Leporidae and since then she has become something of a ruthless pragmatic.
After Tremorus and Leporidae bent the knee, she was introduced to the concept of the Champion's Guild, which quickly caught her mind, and fascinated her. It wasn't long before the Prodigal Champion joined their ranks, eager to find new ways of testing herself, and of emerging victorious.
|Bhandn||Well. She certainly catches the eye, doesn't she? I don't think I've ever seen a woman as tall as her. I'm rather curious to know how she'd fare in the sparring ring, but I think that is a question I must consider very carefully before trying to discover the answer.|
|Cassiopeia||My dear sister is so strong and confident, anyone would be wise to cower in her presence. I admire and look up to her (sometimes hide behind her) and appreciate these qualities, even though I bring very different ones to the mix. I know I can count on her, just as I will always be there for her to count on me. If there is one constant, it is that.|
|Dio||Willful, fierce, and a gifted sword fighter.|
|Ember||Big and mean. I could go on, but I get the impression she'd prefer I left it at 'big and mean.' And if I was big and mean, I'd prefer people left it that way, too.|
|Ezekiel||Stern, but lovely. I do look forward to playing for her again.|
|Ezmeralda||Sword of Tremorus and champion of my people. Truly magnificent stature, physique, presence, mind and heart. She is the perfect balance of all that we could strive to be and yet many of us will fall short of that expectation. Inside of her I can sense something powerful, waiting to bloom like the deadly flower she is.|
|Gehenna||A warrior woman in the very spirit of the farthest and most remote tribes - rather, of course, houses - of the North.|
|Giorgio||A brave fighter, it would seem. I would trust her blade, and likely will have many causes to in future.|
|Lore||Lady Andromeda is a towering pillar of military might and keen insight. All of the Leporidae that I've met are full of mystery and curiosity, I do love that in people. Perhaps we can trade stories sometimes.|
|Mabelle||A serious lady. Proud. I appreciate that. If she has chocolate, I appreciate that too.|
|Magnus||An interesting newcomer from the Saffron Chain. A warrior, obviously, and I'm sure a capable one. I am sure she has an interesting story to her, one that I hope to learn one day.|
|Nina||She's like a marvelous statue of a grand heroine! Honestly, at first it is hard to believe that she is a real person! I would love to sew her a dress.|
|Odin||Badass with a great many titles that I imagine are well-earned. Perhaps someday I will have the distinction of facing her in battle, though something tells me if I did, it would be my last.|
|Orland||A solid fighter, that likes skulls. She also left me in the woods. Small chance I'll work for her again.|
|Piccola||Tall. Strong. To the point. *sigh* Sometimes you just don't know where to begin, so it's best to not start.|
|Raimon||The Legend in person. Just about exactly what you'd expect, except even taller. (!!!) Sure picked a highlight-reel moment to make her dramatic entry . . . on an otherwise uneventful day at the Fox.|
|Reese||A lovely and very tall Lady who likely is quite good with her sword. I hope to see her in action one day! I am impressed and would like to learn more.|
|Sabriel||A towering, imperious woman with an equally terrifying length of steel at her hip. All that metal for an exterior seems to be there as armor for a soft interior and a healthy respect for those that speak plain, act with loyalty, and call her friend.|
|Savio||A towering warrior who could break me in half without blinking, and fiercely loyal to home! Love it. Possibly the one person I might think twice before annoying.|
|Sudara||I do not believe that I have ever met anyone quite so tall! But there is a great deal more to the Sword of Leporidae than her height: I admire her forthright curiosity, and I hope that we can work together to ensure that her people truly do have a place within the Compact.|
|Svana||A woman who claims to be able to preserve the heads and hearts of one's enemies for trophies. That sounds like someone I need to know.|
|Trueth||While Lady Andromeda is not like most other people, that doesn't mean it's a bad thing. She is unique in all aspects; a breath of fresh air, as she bluntly says what's on her mind. I'll get a smile out of her.|
|Viviana||The Sword of Leporidae is an unforgettable figure, and it's not terribly difficult to picture her wading through the thickest, bloodiest part of the battlefield with little resistance.|
|Viviana||The Sword of Tremorus is tremendous. In presence and spirit. She's most certainly a Titan.|
