Description: Those who gaze upon Lady Helewise Redreef are met with the stony expression of someone who can probably count every individual smile she's ever offered. Tall without being towering, Helewise has the strong but shapely frame of a natural weightlifter. Her skin is immaculate and her black hair is doubly so, never anything less than perfectly coiffed and generally drawn tight. Cool and unsympathetic eyes and full, expressive lips give her lack of smiles an added severity. She carries herself with strict economy of motion that gives way to explosive bursts of physicality in a fight.

Personality: Helewise was growing up into a tightly formed mould when she discovered instead that she was able to fight and fight well; and it has shaped her entire worldview. She has an air of near-absolute poise but rarely leans into softness. This can be mistaken for coldness but is instead reserve. Her passion for etiquette and protocol is strict and ruthless; the converse is that it is fair, and with (a little) mercy. She holds good behavior in high regard, and would see a rude prince as the lesser (in many ways) to a well-behaved and well-mannered recently-former-thrall.

Background: Helewise Redreef was the eldest daughter of a small family in the Isles whose lands could be best described as "bleak." Her purpose in life was to be a perfect individual match in order to further these parlous fortunes, but there was a falling out, for Helewise chose other than her father when future Baroness Ember rose her way to challenge the laws of tradition. Helewise had little to offer save a sharp mind and a willingness to work, but she took to murdering people in heavy armor like a duck to water or a Lycene to treachery, and was rewarded in the fallout of everything. She did not confront her father on the field of battle: but then, not everything makes a neat little story.
