Description: Her hair is a deep mahogany auburn that curls slightly the longer it grows. She has a tendency to keep her hair swept up and out of her face. Practical but elegant all the same. Her expressions range from concentrated, deep in thought to a peaceful lovely smile. Bright hazel eyes peer out at the world around her with a look of intrigue and curiosity.

Personality: A woman with an intense passion for understanding and knowing things. Not simply believing them or hand-waving a simple explanation away, but truly knowing them. As such, she is a critic of the world around her. She can come off as rather shrewd in her conversations, always right to the point. But her sense of nobility is still strong in the way she carries herself. She is a proper woman through and through.

Background: The daughter of Malcolm and Alda Greenmarch, Ianna grew up with the rest of the Greenmarch brood. Secluded away from the compact and its vast libraries for much of her life, she always felt like something was missing. She learned to focus her intense curiosity in to practical, helpful things. While her cousins were out learning to fight or commune with the spirits, Ianna learned how to heal their wounds and grow helpful plants. Frivolous activities always seemed to evade the young prodigal.

When her family visited Sanctum she was around sixteen and her whole world was turned upside down. The books there held the secrets of so many questions she had about the world around her. Curiosity turned to questions which turned to investigations. She found herself wandering through the Fortress in Sanctum and stumbled in to the personal study chamber of the Seraph of Sanctum. She couldn't help herself and looked through nearly every book o his desk before she was found! But when she was, boy did she wish she had read faster! The punishment was severe.

Though she has grown from her curious wandering days in Sanctum, Ianna has found a very interesting home here in Arx with the rest of her family that has moved to the capitol. Rumors of lost legends and magic are coming to the surface and she intends to prove or disprove every new theory she can get her hands on. the scientific method above all else. Though she still spends time helping to heal the wounds of fallen soldiers and hunters on occasion, her primary goal is in research.
