Action by Jeffeth

The Princess Saoirse Velenosa requested Sir Jeffeth Bayweather to watch her sleep. At first confused she was able to convince him that something was visiting her in her sleep. At first he did not take it seriously but eventually as she gave him evidence and described exactly what was happening the knight became more concerned and dedicated himself to attempting to solve this issue. She shared with him a clue that seemed to indicate that Shadow Hunters were in the room, though they were both careful not to say the name of the creatures. Saoirse told Jeffeth that there were also nightmares, though she did not elaborate much on what the nightmares were.

Jeffeth would try hiding in different places on different nights, forcing himself to stay awake through the night all the while looking through the mirror necklace Thena had given him. Using it as his primary source of examining through the room, Jeffeth would simply hide, and wait. Doing his best to stay awake. He would also keep an eye on Saoirse - to see if the nightmares were something visible as she slept, if there was anything to notice at all.

Action by Saoirse

Saoirse ... sleeps. Since these monsters seem to come when she is unconscious, the princess will be taking to her bed and sleeping to see if they--and the nightmares--come again. If something should wake her, so be it, but otherwise... Zzzz.

While staring in the mirror, it seems some shadows move about the room that aren't visible normally, shadows that seem to dart away and react when watched. They flit around at the edge of vision in the reflection, catching glimpses now and then, trying to stay unobtrusive.

Then Jeffeth sees something rather more startling.

While Saoirse sleeps soundly and peacefully on the bed, when he looks in the mirror, she's not asleep at all. She's standing in the room near the door, talking to a shadow. Turning away from the mirror, she's still resting on the bed, stirring ever so slightly with a frown as if she is having a bad dream, and in the mirror he sees her reflection turn and look right at him, then makes a chiding motion with a wag of her fingers. Then the reflection opens the door the suite and walks out... though the door never moves or opens while he watches outside of the reflection.

For a full day, Saoirse has no reflection at all for the next day. No mirror showed her reflection at all. And the very first time Saoirse tried to point it out to someone else, it returned. Though she could swear her reflection -winked- at her.
