A knife across the unsuspecting throat kills a man the same as a sword driven through armor, but I would rather just rob him blind than have to do either.

Description: Drifa's looks are very true to her prodigal roots. She keeps her brown hair wild and it spills to the middle of her back. She is broad-shouldered, toned, and by the look of her, physically-capable. Her blue eyes are often hidden with the dark war paint she keeps upon her face, which bares a tanned complexion. Something about her presence seems to exude an underlying fierceness.

Personality: Drifa is a prodigal through-and-through. She is fierce and more warrior and thief than any kind of civilized. She often finds herself in her cups or stalking out some score or plot for her next big haul. The thief holds little value in ownership and feels often that if the world were the way it should be that everything that can be taken -- should be taken. As a result, her greed and possessiveness of what is hers (or what she believes to be hers) borders on the comedic. She can be jovial, good-natured, daring, adventurous, and reckless; just so long as she's getting paid.

Background: Drifa was a young girl upon a shav longship when the Seraceni corsairs boarded the small vessel. She had been a capture prize from a neighboring small village that had been wiped out from the raiding party. Led by the father of the Marquis of Seraceni she was taken in and afforded the protection of the House. As far as Drifa knows, she is the last of her village to survive and so she stayed with the Seraceni and learned their ways.

Drifa mourned the loss of the Seraceni Marquis and Marquessa. She was frequently used by the family to scout and steal when necessary against Corsair targets. She became a capable corsair herself and was given her own longship to crew and command.

Drifa owes her life to the Seraceni. She is loyal and does her best to not let the wild ways that still linger in her disposition to reflect poorly on her House. Although at times this can be a struggle as she has grown older she has also grown a bit more accepting.

Drifa is loyal to the family and dependable. She also loves being a Corsair and depriving people of their fancy goods whenever possible. She has become a trusted ward of the family.
