Count Fredrik RedTyde, with fresh approval of Duchess Margot, gathers his family close and sets sail. Where is he going? Not to the former seat of RedTyde - lands now under Kennex rule. No, now he goes to new islands, scouted out with the approval of Duchess Margot. It is a time to heal and to build, a time for regrowth and rebirth. And Fredrik RedTyde starts with diplomacy.
Taking Caspian Wild and his sister Bashira, Marquis Hadrian and Duchess Margot, Lady Tabitha, Lady Vanora, Lord Valdemar, Lord Dycard, Baroness Skye, Lord Archeron, Countess Arcelia, Countess Mia, Lord Constantine, Princess Gwenna and Baroness Ember with him, he has assembled an incredibly diverse and talented set of diplomats. They are skilled at discussing all manner of reasons for these shav to join the Compact - from former prodigals to princesses, each of them has a unique viewpoint of why the Compact is worth the time, and why they should join. Marquis Ford helps too, since he clearly doesn't want to lose control of lands currently sending taxes to Kennex - he helps them find good spots to negotiate, and good areas to claim. Sir Jordan, Lord Archeron, Lord Aethan, and Commander Violet to provide security, their diplomatic party encounters no dangers they can't overcome.
And it succeeds. It succeeds beyond anyone's wildest imaginations, and at the end of the campaign Lord Fredrik RedTyde is staring at a map where he now holds land. Much of it is undeveloped. Much of it needs serious infrastructure work. There are vast locations where they still need to tame the wilderness and incorporate the people under Compact rule. It's a large undertaking ahead of him - but the revitalization of RedTyde has begun.
