Cristoph's Gambit

There have been raids as of late on Laurent lands, with trade caravans coming from Artshall brutally attacked by unknown forces. Word spreads that Duke Cristoph Laurent worked tirelessly on rooting out those responsible, and was able to catch a number by disguising troops to ambush the raiders. It's very reassuring to his vassals that he's not sitting idly by, and has thus far had success, with the lands growing tense but quiet in recent weeks.
