Oakhaven's Growth

After the defeat of Braeock Shadowood, an Abandoned warleader near Keaton lands, there's an enormous program of outreach from House Keaton to try to recruit as many of the newly knelt prodigals to their armies and to settle at Oakhaven. It's a convincing effort, particularly on the part of the Marquessa Reigna, and Marquis Kael, who parlays the reputation of the budding Academy of War to convince new soldiers to enlist. Amari, the White Heart of Keaton introduces many to Barf, the Bog Dog rescued from Reaver's Bog, who's is widely liked by the potential recruits, and many of Reigna's speeches have tell tale signs of Margerie's influence in helping to convince the prodigals to sign up. Natalia is a tremendous help, particularly since many of the Abandoned switched to fight for her originally, and she has history for them. All told, there's a large influx of prodigals at Oakhaven and in its armies.
This does not go without notice throughout the rest of the Oathlands, as some of the houses that are extraordinarily hostile to Abandoned (and prodigals even) at the moment muttering about it. House Bellerive, currently under siege, is particularly critical, suggesting that any Oathlands house taking prodigals at a time when they are fighting barbarians lacks Oathlands mettle. Other Oathlands houses strenuously disagree, but it's a mixed bag in the west.
