The streets of Ostria were shut down for a massive military parade that so thrilled the spectators with the precision battle demonstrations, glaivedancing exhibitions and rousing speeches that Mazetti saw a record number of civilian volunteers join the ranks of their military. The appearance of the Archduchess-Regent was met with thunderous applause and seemed to cap an extraordinary event.
