Juniper's Day

While the people of Acheron certainly do not know Sister Juniper as their Marquessa did, they respect Rhea's grief and they respect the passing of a sister of the Faith. And they certainly like a new holiday, particularly one based in drinking to anyone's memory. Particularly one based in hope for the future.
A number of people hailing from near the mining camp of Juniper's birth apply for courtier training. For many, the Faith and the Whisper House represent their best chance of elevation, and within Acheron's borders, Juniper becomes a symbol, not only of compassionate ideals, but of the heights to which anyone of any birth may aspire.
