It's subtle at first, how the fusion of Torean and Eurusi styles has become increasingly popular throughout the Compact. A wide array of goods having been coming out of Tor in the past couple years. Honey wine, differing from the ever popular mead, has become particularly popular throughout Lycene city-states as a sweet alternative to mead. Cosmetics throughout the Compact have begun to use thornbush resin in various perfumes and spices. Torean-eurusi clothing with a unique blend of loose fitting attire, merging the two styles, has become a fashionable option of choice during the warmer months in Arx and throughout the Lyceum, with another styling of cotton and wool favoring winter. Torean warhorses have become in demand throughout the Compact, much to dismay of Oathlanders, who firmly decry any 'passing fad' that could compare to their prized cavalry mounts. And to the regret of many, Torean goats are quite popular. And everywhere. The bleating never stops. Ever.
The mastermind behind this push is widely rumored to be the Minister of Agriculture for Tor, none other than the Radiant of the Whisper House, Aconite. It's no surprise then that her social campaign popularizing it has gone well, ably assisted by Narcissa, Caspian, and Pasquale. There is quite a bit of envy, but little true hard feelings- people just enjoy the new goods too much.
