Archlectors Aleksei and Aureth, along with Duchess Dafne and Saedrus Whisper, travel to Sanctum to convince the Seraph of Sanctum and the Pure Faith of the Oathlands to consider accepting the changes in the Faith of the Pantheon. The Faith of the Pantheon as practiced in the Oathlands is rigid and deeply conservative, and they do not take change easily, and it is entirely possible that the Seraph of Sanctum was chosen because pedantry and pompous arrogance are often confused with religious gravitas by many of the Pure Faith, so it's a pretty hard sell. That said, Saedrus is able to help the group obey every minor nuance of their exacting protocols to make certain no offense is given when the Pure Faith were metaphorically (and quite possibly literally) salivating at the prospect of being able to correct anyone else's mistakes, and Aleksei's mastery of theology disarms them. Aureth able to teach them fine points appeals deeply to pedants joy at being able to know something and correct others on the trivial that don't actually matter, and wins their hearts. The Seraph of Sanctum will, at least for now, not undermine the adoption of the Lost Gods. Openly at least.
This wins a great deal of praise from the Oathlands and the Faith. It also receives a great deal of eyerolling in the Lyceum, who see it as pandering to the most excruciating of individuals, but they still know it's really doing what you have to do.
