Besieged - A Play in Three Acts

Beseiged, A Play in Three Acts by the Playwright Bastien, has a little something for everyone*! The premiere was quite well attended - even the King showed up. Rumors have it he personally sponsored the play, and the boxes were packed to the rafters of people eager to see this long-awaited play's debut. Of particular note were the masterful performances by Yasmine Rovashani as Olivetta, and Jareth as Delmar. Aurora, the lead costume designer for the Black Rose Theater, outdid herself with the costumes, and indeed Prince Rook, Princess Sabella, and Calandra Whisper did excellent jobs promoting the play that Baron Audric produced.
All in all it was a triumphant success. And if it was rather heavily slanted toward the plaint of the commoners that they live and die based on the decisions of nobles who very rarely even know their names, it's probably a good reminder as the Compact gears up for war.
*Where "everyone" is mostly Commoners.
