Idols Erect

Count Kael Keaton gathers a few people as well to pray to Limerance, in acknowledgement of sacred vows, fidelity to duty, and love for the people they are striving to protect. He spends weeks erecting a large idol for the Proving Grounds, inviting all in Arx to offer etchings or paintings of their prayers or vows upon it. At home in Oakhaven, another statue is erected. In Stormwall, Countess Reigna does likewise, bringing her own vows and prayers to lay at the base of the statue there.
Sir Norwood Laurent and Lady Jael Laurent aid by adding a statue in Southport. He speaks to those who will listen, as his statue is erected, of the connection between friends and family, and the oaths before Limerance that bind them to duty and honor on the battlefield. It's a very moving speech.
Lord Jaerith Keaton's speech, on the other hand, is somewhat less moving. He gives a rambling speech that either encourages his men to place their vows and prayers before the smaller idol he places on his ship, or encourages them to drink more. Probably more the latter than the former. Sailors, man.
