New Crisis Action Round

Posted by Herja on 07/20/22
Starting today, two crises have been opened for players to respond to.

The first of which is a crisis regarding the current financial situation in the Lyceum, #1576 - Lyceum Finances. The murder of the Herald of Greed has created disastrous consequences for some Houses in the Lyceum. Issues here to explore could be: looking into the history of Malrico and what the nature of the hold he had on the Lyceum was, going off on a treasure hunt to try to find some of his hoarded treasures and silver, taking action to stabilize the economy (I am pretty sure only other accountants like me are going to find this interesting). Any other ideas that you might have, as long as they pertain to this crisis, would be wonderful as well.

The second crisis has to do with the attacks and weird trees in the Oathlands/Crownlands/North, %1577 - The Thornweave Threat. Actions there can potentially include: scouting the area to gain more information, researching/interacting with those weird trees, meeting with Abandoned tribes. Any other ideas that you might have, as long as they pertain to this crisis, would be wonderful as well.

We are hoping to live GM as many of these crisis actions as possible. If you do not want live GMing for yours, please make sure to indicate as such.

Some general guidelines for crisis actions for this round:

1.) As a player, you cannot be involved in every action because of IC time constraints. We are limiting each player to TWO crisis action assists. Each org leader is welcome to start an action and then assist on two others.

2.) Please keep your assist focused on what the goal of the overarching action is. If you are assisting on a scouting action, putting in an assist in which you are talking to the trees is most likely just to get that assist ignored. If what you want to do is not covered in the action you are assisting on, you are always welcome to put in a personal action or try to link up with orgs that are doing what you would like to do instead.

3.) If your crisis action contains more that 10 assists, it will likely not be live GMed.

The window for crisis action submission will begin today and end on August 31st. Resolution will occur in September and October.
