A Resolution

House Crovane greatly regrets the conflict which has arisen within the North and the Compact as a result of recent exchanges. In consultation with Whisper House, we have determined this:
On the matter of rites and challenges, we accept opportunities for a quick resolution were lost. We recognize and accept that the words which prompted Lady Monique's call to duel are words we would take back if we could; to her challenge, we must decline for we will not defend what was said. However, to make amends and express respect to the Faith, whose rituals were turned from, we will make a donation of silver to be put towards the keeping of the shrine of Gloria, and to help offset the expenses of tending to those veterans wounded in defense of the Compact. This donation will be made in our names and that of Lady Monique Greenmarch, whose challenge was honourably done.
On the matter of hurts carried forward in our hearts and to make amends to our liege, and those in his keeping, we will hold a fasting vigil at the standing stones within Redrain's ward. In this vigil, we hope to show our regret for what has occurred, our loyalty and devotion, as well as to find healing of the wounds we still keenly feel within ourselves. Wisdom and closure can be found in such communion and so we will seek it for ourselves, that future challenges may be met with the dignity and care our people deserve.
On the matter of the rebuilding of Stormwall, we wish to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has contributed to helping lift our holdings from the ashes of past conflict. All oaths and promises made toward the keeping of those who have committed their time, their energy, their resources to this enterprise will be strictly kept. Our recognition of the sacrifices made there-- before, during and after-- will never diminish, nor will we ever forget what has been done to help Stormwall, Crovane, and the people of the North.
