Commoners' Council Selection Process

Posted by Calarian on 12/15/18
Nominations for the Commoners' Council have been received and the window for any additional applications has closed. The city will now move forward to determine which five of the sixteen candidates will make up the Council for this coming term. For this next window any commoner may enter the offices of the Knights-Herald and record their selection with the contingent of scribes who have been made available to the public for this purpose. It is the responsibility of the scribe AND the voter both to ensure two accurate copies of their selections are made: one to be retained by the Knights-Herald and one to be provided to Councilor Joscelin Arterius. No fee will be collected in recording each selection.

Each selection should contain five candidates from the list provided below. Partial selections will not be counted. Candidates are eligible to enter selections as well but must include themselves. Nobles are not eligible to participate. The list of individuals who have stepped forward, bereft of any earned titles for the sake of absolute clarity, is as follows:

Aleksei Morgan
Alrec Magaldi
Andry Bayweather
Apollo Oakwood
Auda
Evaristo
Harper Grayhope
Josephine Arcuri
Juniper Whisper
Orathy Culler
Perronne Amboise
Sina Godsworn
Stygia Ulbran
Theodoric Ulbran
Venturo Thayne
Waldemai Isenhu

Upon recording a citizen's selection the scribe will stain one of the citizen's fingers with purple ink. Rest assured that it will fade in a matter of weeks to months.

In Service to the King,
Calarian Wyrmguard
Marquis-Consort of Blancbier
First Observer of the Knights-Herald

(( OOC: This voting window is going to last 7 days so anyone who's busy due to seasonal stuff will have ample time to drop in to get a vote through, just like last time. All you have to do to participate is 1) be a commoner and 2) send a message to Calarian and Joscelin similar to 'message calarian, joscelin=My votes for the Commoners' Council are Name1, Name2, Name3, Name4, and Name5.' ))
