A Notice to the Oathlands

Posted by Alis on 01/11/19
It has been brought to our attention that those who invaded Sanctum and assassinated Prince Radley, former Highlord of the Oathlands, his wife, three of his children, extended family, house servants, guards, and vassal representatives took armor and weapons that are distinctly those of Sanctum and House Valardin. We now offer a bounty, to have those pieces brought back where they belong. Silver will be offered in generous amount based on what pieces, and how many, are returned to us.

In addition, as we are certain such scum will no doubt use the current tragedy unfolding with the contruction of the Great Road to cause more strife and confusion I make it clear as a Voice of Valardin and the General of Sanctum's Armies, that any person wearing the armor of House Valardin must spare those Abandoned who wish to bend the knee, join the Compact, and convert to the Faith. It is our sacred duty as the birthplace of the Faith to protect those who have seen the true path and wish to walk it. Any person wearing our House's armor that disobeys that order will be stripped of their comission and should be brought to Sanctum to face judgement from the High Lord, Prince Edain Valardin, Prince of Sanctum. And, the Seraph of Sanctum.

--- Keaton Stance (from Kael) ---
House Keaton fully supports House Valardin in this and will lend aid, if asked, to the removal of those criminals.

--- Templars Stance (from Preston) ---
The Seraph of Sanctum is most wise and will come to a well considered opinion. It is important the birthplace of the Faith represents the values of the Gods more than any other place.

--- Stahlben Stance (from Volcica) ---
The Bonespire will, of course, welcome any Abandoned wishing to find a new home in the far North. Violence is far from the only option, and we are glad to see Valardin promoting that.

--- Mercy Stance (from Sophie) ---
The Mercies fully support any measures that will minimize the loss of life and suffering of innocents. The Mercies offer any aid required to assist in bringing these murderers to justice.

--- Blackram Stance (from Gaston) ---
Our rangers discovered those responsible for the heinous act of plunder, and any who wish to aid the effort of tracking them are encouraged to reach out to myself or the Lady Teagan. Cloudspine is also offered as a place of refuge for Abandoned fleeing the war.
