The White Lily of Lenosia

When Princess Eleyna Velenosa came to Arx, she did so with the intention of starting over, of becoming someone else besides the woman that others called the Black Widow of Lenosia, as if such words could dim such a vibrant light or shame her into a quiet life of obscurity.
Little did those people know that their words caused her to rise beyond the greatest heights any could image. Little did they know that they would one day call her their Archduchess, and see the Hundred Cities prosper, grow, and become elevated to immeasurable success.
Quietly sick, she put her people and the Compact first. She did so until it became too much and she decided what was best for them was to step down. It was not a moment of weakness, none of her moments could ever be described as such, but it was a difficult decision that needed to be made. One that needed to be made while she was still alive so the Lyceum continued to prosper, to grow, and to remain elevated. To keep peace.
She fought till she could not. It is with a heavy heart that I tell those who she loved so, that Princess Eleyna Velenosa, former Archduchess of Lenosia, Grand Duchess of the Lyceum, has passed peacefully with her husband beside her in her finally moments.
Let her be remembered during our mourning period as the passionate, determined, unwavering, compassionate, and loving woman she was.
I will miss her.
