Rite of Gloria

Knights and Honorable Warriors of Arx,
It has been a long time coming since there was a Rite of Gloria tournament. I aim to change this. Due to mitigating circumstances, as of this writing, the shrine of Gloria is closed, but one does not need a shrine to give their prayers and praise to the Goddess of Honor, War, and Chivalry. In two months time, both the tournament and the grand melee will take place. I make this proclamation before I set the date for the tournament itself, as I wish to create the matches according the number of combatants that show interest.
Each match will be a one on one fight. High quality steel arms and armor. The winner will move onto the next match, so on and so forth until the final round, which will declare the tournament winner. The grand melee will be held the following day or the following weekend, depending if the tournament requires more than one day to play out, on the stipulation that the number of contestants happens to be rather large. Awards for first, second, and third place as well as winner of the grand melee will be announced in time.
Dates will be forthcoming in the next few days. Til then, any combatant who wishes to participate send a message to my office. Entrance to the tournament will be open for only a week starting from the publishing of this proclamation. The grand melee will be open to all, allowing those who wish to participate but missed the deadline for the tournament.
