Regarding Fatima Thrax

Earlier this year, a woman made a dire mistake in the eyes of not only the citizenry of Arx, but in the eyes of the Faith. Fatima Thrax was involved in an incident involving putting Abandoned into slavery. Whatever her intent was, the fact remains that it happened. This was a grave transgression, going against foundations of the Faith and the very morals of the people. For this, she was stripped of her title as a member of the peerage and a Princess of House Thrax.
In addition to having her title stripped from her, she was to seek penance from the Faith, to seek forgiveness and redemption in the eyes of the Pantheon. Fatima sought me out, seeking my advice on how to seek that forgiveness. We spoke and in the following months, I have personally witnessed the humility and regret that has entered her heart. I saw her charitable works to various institutions. The House of Solace. The Templars. The Mercies. She donated coin and ships, more than I would have expected from a person seeking redemption.
But once we spoke again, she said she felt like she had done enough. That coin and ships were easy to give, but she wanted something more substantial, something that would last and have meaning. She believed she needed to do more to ease the stains on her soul and her conscience. In the recent months, she has made various efforts to assisting a number of charitable organizations across the city, helping new Prodigals that have found the faith in gods and newly freed ex-thralls joining the ranks of the Templars, House of Solace, and Mercies. As a result, the numbers have risen a considerable amount and her name has been spoken in a positive light among members of the Faith.
After long consideration, and seeing the results of her good works, the honesty, humility, and regret she shows for the actions that she had made. That living with what she has done will be a permanent reminder and how it will guide her in the future. After all this, I am pleased to say that the commoner known as Fatima Thrax has been redeemed in the eyes of gods and of the Faith. And from this time, the Faith hopes that something like this never comes to pass again. As far as the Faith is concerned, her penance has been fulfilled, and she is wished well. As to the matter of her title, that is not the Faith's place to decide. It will be up to the peerage to decide if she will be able to rejoin them. In this, the Faith considers the matter closed.

So does this mean she gets to keep the caravel? Or is it still up for being seized and transferred to a deserving commoner merchant family? Just curious.

We rejoice to see there are those that embrace the course redemption rather than steer into the winds of denial. The Rivenshari welcome you back Princess, may the winds keep you true to path.
