Crovane Relief for the Hungry
Posted by Rukhnis on 05/19/20
House Crovane, through the kitchens of the Black Axe Pub and Stormbird's Roost Eatery, will join others of the Compact in offering good filling meals at no expense to all in need of them. A ploughman's lunch of bread and onion, cheese, and pickled vegetables will be available from the pub or eatery, to be ordered in portions for individuals or families. While simple charity cannot cure ills at the root, it is hoped that this aid will help sustain those who have come into the direst need through no fault of their own, while further encouraging all people of the Compact to work together for the more conscientious tending of our shared garden.
To ease the burdens of travel between the Ward of the Compact and the Lower Boroughs, the house will be looking to employ fit and able-bodied persons of all ages to take orders for meals and run them between the two establishments and the homes of those in want. There will also be additional jobs available in the kitchens to help with the increased workload, with the possibility of continued employment beyond the present crisis.
Inquiries and orders may be placed in cooperation with the Commons Clinic in the Lowers, with meal couriers available in the Commons Square.
In peace and honour,
fearing no storm,

Mmm. Running into the lowers with your hands full. A new kind of sport I suppose. Still. A nice thought.
