The Lyceum Mourns

My brother was far too young when our parents were murdered, so Leona and I became his protectors though we were not much older ourselves. This never changed, despite life moving forward and paths shifting to pull us in different directions. I have failed.
I mourn the loss of my brother. The Lyceum mourns the loss of a Marquis-Consort. For thirteen days we will remember the man that was taken from us too soon, speak of the laughter and forgo the tears. He would not wish for us to cry.
To those who thought this was a good idea, please know that you have made the biggest mistake you have ever made. I will find you and your death will not come quickly; it will not be painless, and it will not be pleasant. You will pray to the Gods for release that will not come. You will suffer.
No one may harm us unpunished.
