Denoblement

When Princess Valencia Velenosa married into the noble house of Redrain she was praised for her ability to adjust to her new home, her new people. Even after her husband passed, her strength took center stage and High Lord Darren made her his Voice, a Fox of the North. Unfortunately Princess Valencia lost her way, the noble path that she was on stripped from her when she failed to understand the Duty and Honor that came from such an esteemed position. No longer Voice of House Redrain, Prince Niccolo agreed to allow Princess Valencia to return to the House of her birth to avoid the shame she brought upon herself.
After being directed to her journal, and receiving no missive from the Princess I wished to show her the virtues in which the God's teach us to live our lives as best we are able. I did not remove her entire stipend, but gave her the amount a hard working commoner earns to remind her to remain humble for what she has. I asked her to reply. Silence. I removed her from her Ministry position to remind her to be honorable and understanding, her position dealing with those less fortunate. Silence. She spoke of duty to her house and her desire to see the Lyceum bettered and to protect the values held by the Compact. Did we just not go through lessons pertaining to what is a Nobles duty and marriage to create alliances that benefit houses to be one? Now such duty is beneath Princess Valencia.
It is with a heavy heart as someone who has hoped time and time again she would break free from the shadow she created during her time in the north but it seems she has not. I hereby strip Princess Valencia Velenosa of her title and position as Princess of House Velenosa until such a time she is able to learn from her mistakes. May you find your path once more, Valencia.
Archduchess Jaenelle Velenosa

The Archduchess entrusted the Lyceum to you expecting her kin to be safe. How you treated a blooded Fox in Valencia was bereft of cunning. If silence is what you demand of nobles then it's on commoners to speak. In flexing the Archduchess' power you have proven undeserving of it.

I am inspired by the sweet succor of the common that stand for Valencia Velenosa. Such words are not only a decree of the worth of the one they, with such courage, defend ... but an artful condemnation of those that cast her out in fashion most Lycene, indeed.

Messere Valencia has acted like a commoner for a decade. This only gives her exactly what she desires. May her casino thrive. Indeed, Goldenhart might be an appropriate surname now.
