A Deed Done

As I wrote and proclaimed before, House Malvici would grant no member of House Nonperdo, the Abandoned clan who struck down our Duchess, mercy. We have achieved what we set out to do. In a swift war we have seen the entire destruction of the Nonperdo fleet and the full surrender of the Abandoned. That each member of the Abandoned clan who struck against our Duchess has been executed and justice rendered - may the Gods have mercy on them.
In House Malvici, and with support from both Saik and Magnotta, we have honoured our status as the House of War in the Compact. Decisive action was taken over these months testament to that. Each Malvici soldier can stand prouder than ever as they have upheld the memory not just of Duchess Calypso, but each Malvici before them. Each Malvici all the way back to our very first Dame Arsenia Malvici. For each life lost, we shall honour their memory with a Vulture's Feast.
For the people of Asti who have been liberated from the Abandoned, a decision on you will be made in time. For those who worship false Gods, you can make the decision easier and renounce the heretical worship. Accept the Pantheon of the Faith and the Thirteen as your Gods and your moral compass.
While we have recovered an item from our late Duchess Calyspo Malvici, we still have not recovered the body. If we have been robbed of being able to lay our Duchess in the Malvici crypt, for her to be with the other Malvici who have died in battle, we will extend no compassion to any that stand in our way to bring her home.
