The Arx Chapter of Mercies

Citizens of the Compact,
The Arx chaper of Mercies wishes it to be known that Lord Anders Nightcove has attempted to make sufficient reparation for the attack on our hospital ship. His donation was more than generous, and under the circumstances will allow us to continue to aid those who are harmed as a result of the violence of war. The Faith's stance on slavery is also very clear, and we cannot in good conscience condone the making of thralls as punishment. To that end, a portion of the donation given us will be shared with The Liberators
We also understand the criticism of the choice not to sail in as a separate entity, but wish to assure all of those concerned that we merely sought safety in numbers while approaching possible hostilities. When the fire raged, and we began trying to haul people out of the water, we did so without regard to the colors they wore. As Mercies, it is our duty to help all of those in need. A duty from which we will not falter. I take personal responsibility for some of this confusion, given my dual roles as both a Voice of Darkwater, and of the Arx Chaper of Mercies.
And so, for any coordination of healing efforts needed, specific to the strife and civil war in the Mourning Isles, I hereby appoint Princess Ailys Grayson, a Mercy of Lagoma, to take charge of that responsibility.
By My Hand,
Lady Azova Darkwater
Voice of Mercy
--- Physicians Stance via Eirene ---
The Physicians Guild, while a secular organization, stands by our Mercy siblings and welcomes coordination with Mercy Princess Ailys should she wish a helping hand.
--- Templars Stance via Preston ---
We are all glad that matters were dealt with, and commend the swift action of Lord Anders. And, of course, are sure there won't be a repeat.
