These are trying times, but the goal of House Valardin is ever to stand between the innocent and the dark, and try to bring hope when it is needed. In that light, we have several announcements.
We have donated 10 million silver to The Faith, in order to help any rebuilding and refugee efforts because of the ongoing war against evil we find ourselves embroiled in.
We have also donated 2 million silver each to both The Physicians, and the House of Solace, knowing how hard they both work to keep people alive despite their most greivous injuries sustained in the fight.
And, finally. We invite you all to join us in welcoming the new Prince-Consort of the Oathlands, the former Lord Edris Elwood, who will now be known as Prince Consort Edris Valardin. We were wed in a quiet, intimate ceremony at Sanctum, led by the Seraph of Sanctum, with several trusted friends and family there to bear witness. With thanks to Marquis Kael Keaton and his lovely wife the Marquessa Consort Keely Keaton, Baroness Natalia Elwood, Lady Elaine Elwood, and my eldest daughter Princess Ellara Valardin who were all there for the entirety of the ceremony. ((And any family who wants to assume they had the fortitude to sit through an orthodox ceremony))
An announcement with event details will be forthcoming. For a short time, let us bask in the bonds of family and the forging of alliances large and small, knowing when we face what comes that we do so as one people, united.
