To the Heron, the Lion, and the Elven Oak

Arvum now faces an invading force unlike any that have been seen since the time of the Reckoning. We did not fall to darkness then. We will not fall to darkness now.
As the Twainfort's gates have long been open to those in need of shelter, they will remain so now regardless of creed or banner. Whether you are of the riverlands, our neighbors from Old Oak and surrounding areas, the tribes and houses of the Abandoned, or sylv'alfar newly freed from bondage, you are welcome in our halls and to what safety may be found among us.
By my order:
- All vassals sworn to House Riven are to raise their armies and prepare for assault.
- All people of the riverlands are commanded to seek shelter within the city of Arx, the Twainfort and Twinbridge, or the nearest walled keep. Arm yourselves as you are able, and carry only what is needed to endure siege.
- All citizens who are able should prepare to commit themselves to these efforts. Smiths are to set the full capacity of their forges to producing weapons and armor for the populace. Masons and carpenters are directed to the reinforcement and fortifications of our walls. Merchant and fishing vessels within the Twainfort's waters are hereby conscripted for transport of people and critical supplies. Any man or woman capable of wielding blade, axe, or pitchfork must do so.
To the people of House Bisland and their domain, I remind you that Pridehall has never been taken by force, nor have her armies ever failed your liege lord. By my command as Voice, any soldier who marches under the lion banner and wishes to commit themselves to the cause of Her Grace, High Lady Liara of House Grayson, is hereby released from their current duty that they may join her in her push north. All other forces are to prepare for siege at Pridehall or Arx, whichever is nearer to their current location. Vassals are called upon to raise their banners. Citizens are directed to arm themselves and seek shelter within the nearest walled keep.
To the sylv'alfar of the west, I urge you to fortify your holdings and prepare for assault. For those who are unable to do so, I urge you -- with the blessing of Her Grace, High Lady Alis of House Valardin -- to seek refuge in the walls of Sanctum. Invoke my name at the gates, and you will be welcomed under the ancient laws and traditions of Guest Right.
To all those who look to our banners, I say this:
Hold fast. Find courage, which is not the absence of fear but the will to act despite it. I have always found mine through invincible faith in the strength and capability of our people. You may slow or shift the course of a mighty river, but no one can ever truly stop it.
We will give no ground. We will grant the enemy no quarter. We will not yield.
We will stand together, united, for kin and honor.

The Marquessa indeed has our blessing; we will welcome and protect you.
