Crazed Crafter Caught!
Posted by Shreve on 12/12/16
In these troubled times, the Inquisition stands ready to bring swift justice to those that threaten the King's Peace. Not long ago, an incident in the Lower Boroughs claimed the life of a crafter named Malavaunt. Even more recently, another crafter named Wolbrand was discovered missing. The Inquisition wisely deduced that these acts of cowardly violence against our beloved craftsmen must be related, and were able to track the culprit down. Trusted sources revealed a jealous and insidious craftsman named Gerry was responsible for both actions, and our brave confessors immediately sought to apprehend the villain. Two confessors was slain by the crafty scoundrel who escaped, but fortunately for the city, the Captain-General Audric of the Valorous Few was willing to undertake this bounty on behalf of the Inquisition, who have placed his company of high minded gentlemen on retainer. Gerry, the murderous rogue, was apprehended by Audric and his companions, and turned to the House of Questions, and after only a few days of questioning he produced a full confession giving a complete account of his crimes. It is tragic that jealousy for crafting expertise could drive a man to murder, but the Inquisition is proud to have solved the mystery.
