We of House Fidante stand behind our liege, House Velenosa. There is no question in our loyalty and what we would do to show our support. The Archduchess welcomed me to Arx with open arms into her family prior to the arrival of any other Fidante in the city. The Velenosa family has been like an extension of my own family and with the wedding of Duke Leo to Archduchess Esera, they truly would have been.
Today, my heart is black. It aches for the Archduchess; it aches for my brother who sacrificed -everything- for our family and specifically for me. He is the only sibling I have, the only parent I have known as our mother and father were murdered when we were children still. I do not have children of my own but can only imagine the pain a father must feel to lose a child.
In addition to House Velenosa, we stand with House Grayson and pray for the safe return of Princess Dawn Grayson as well. Let us stand together, unified, and powerful against the evils of the world.
We will stop at nothing to find our Duke and bring him home where he belongs. Those who reap from our garden will not live to sow the seeds.
