In Memorial

To the Faithful:
The men and women of the Compact have never failed to face our enemies with Gloria's own courage, and hold to their duties and justice even in the face of the most dire of dangers. Some have fallen in that righteous battle, and know that the Faith mourns each and every one lost, even as we pray that those souls are taken up to Elysia to sit at the foot of the gods. Although we are certain that many families will provide memorial services specifically for their own sons, daughters, and loved ones, the Faith wishes to provide a space where all the fallen may be honored. As such, the Sanctum of Nature has been converted into a Memorial Garden, where any of the grieving may come, speak of their loved ones, sit in vigil, and find both spiritual guidance and the companionship of those who are also grieving. Priests and Disciples will be assigned throughout the next week to minister to our Faithful, with food provided by the Disciples of Gild. In sorrow and in determination, we stand together against that which would threaten the righteous.
By my hand and authority,
Father Orazio, Legate of Concepts, Shield of the Faith
(OOC: Rather than a specific day and time for an 'event', I've added a room mood to the Sanctum of Nature portraying a memorial space, that will remain up for the next week. Feel free to have scenes there to speak of any of the dead, from highborn to low, and priests and disciples are encouraged to stop by to aid people in their grieving. There's a few things going on during it, which are reflected in the room_mood (such as disciples of Jayus making memorial tokens for people) which may provide hooks.)
