For the last year, Black Mountain Trading has been expanding, growing and building. We have finally built a network that can move cargo from any place in Arvum to Arx and never change hands or be delayed by ports, jurisdictions of lack of ships. For the last year, Black Mountain Trading has been conducting proof-of-concept operations to test this network. To see its capacity and test its capability.
The point to these tests has been to be ready, to be able to serve as a logistical arm to the Compact in times of need. And now, with up to a hundred thousand troops of natural and super natural nature bearing down upon Arx, that network is hereby placed at the disposal of the Compact and profit making measures are put to the side.
Instead, the full weight of this network, its operators and its power is put at the task of stockpiling the goods needed to ensure that the city is successful in its defense. Black Mountain Trading bends itself to the effort of ensuring enough money and food is on hand, that others can focus fully on defense.
In the next few weeks, Black Mountain will be pouring as much supplies into Arx as it is capable of. These supplies are not free, but they will be at cost. There will be no profiteering, no gouging. And so long as there is a scrap in the warehouse, none shall go hungry.
