The Lost Gods

Many of you have noticed that our history, our heritage, our very core has been obscured from our eyes. What once was taken as common knowledge, or at least more common than it is now, has been withheld and lost. We have taken for granted that we know all there is to know about many things, and have only recently began to realize that we, like children, have believed ourselves infallible and knowing better.
On the brink of a holy war, our gods have come to many of those among us and scattered their blessings. To some they grant their touch that we might know they still look upon us from Elysia. To others they have granted their sight, that we might see the world for what it is. And to other still they have granted their voice, that we might better understand their desires for us. You all felt the latter today, and for many of you it was a frightful, unfamiliar presence.
Among those gods that we forgot, noted in the Shrine of the Lost by the Skull on her altar, is the Queen of Endings; Death. Hers is the realm of endings and beginnings, of death and reincarnation. Death has now spoken to all of you, and delivered, through Aureth Grayhope, her simplified message. Death will return to the Doctrine of the Faith, Lost no longer.
Noted by the Wolf on His Altar, First Choice is also now recognized by the Faith of the Pantheon. First Choice gives us all the opportunity to choose for ourselves what we do, what we become. Breaker of the Chains of Slavery, First Choice requires only that you make your own decisions and accept responsibility for them, for good or ill.
While I address it last, here, first and foremost among the gods of the Pantheon is Aion, the Dreamer. Aion was the first and dreampt all of creation. It was through Aion's dreams that our gods gained existence, and through Aion that our world took shape. Aion is represented by the Star in the Shrine of the Lost.
Over the coming weeks and months the Faith will release further information about these gods. We continue to strive to recover what was lost about each of them and will bring their words, their desires, their doctrine into our whole.
