Canon Book Contest
Posted by Orazio on 11/01/17
To the Faithful:
Not long ago, the Faith solicited questions regarding canon from the laity, as well as book designs for those who might wish to contribute to the archives of the Faith. In the end, we had two entries to the latter contest, and numerous excellent questions. Now we enter a time of contemplation. Examples of the bookbinders' work can be found at the Archive of Vellichor, in the main room. Members of the public are encouraged to visit these works - however, the works as submitted should not in any way be considered the canon of the Faith, nor is their display an endorsement of the views found within. Over the next several weeks, the Archlectors and other leaders of the Faith will contemplate the works, and choose the artist they feel would best represent the work of the Faith to be produced, a guiding document to answer questions of canon. That artist will receive 250,000 silver, and the opportunity to be the official Faith bookbinder and scribe for the works to come.
At the same time, those who guide doctrine within the Faith will be developing answers to the questions asked by the faithful. Once those answers have been written and ensured to be in line with Faith canon and with truth, they will be released in volumes that will remain in the Archive for all to read and learn. The chosen bookbinder will retain all rights for non-Faith distribution and sale of additional copies of the volumes.
With regards,
Father Orazio
