Issuance of Narciso's Candles

High Inquisitor Alistair exits the House of Questions with a large group of Confessors, many of them baring unlit candles. Two of the Confessors step to either side of the large prodigal man, each holding a wax candle, also unlit. It is then the High Inquisitor makes the follow Proclamation:
"It is with heavy heart that the Inquisition lights these candles. To Dame Zhayla of Old Oak. She who assisted the Compact during its darkest hour in the Siege of Arx, fighting on the field and on wall, who put her own life at risk when she had no reason to do so. You shall be remembered." Alistair turns slowly and motions to the Confessor, who places the candle down to strike flint and light the candle ablaze.
"To Lord Killian Ashford, the Paladin of Ideals, who stood tall at the Siege of Arx, and vanquished a foe we were not ready to face and have not faced in a thousand years. You shall be remembered." Once more the ritual is conducted, the candle lit.
"These candles shall burn for all days, until the day that marks the death of these heroes, where they will be snuffed out. So that all may remember that life can burn brightest except for that one fateful day. But then they shall be relit, to show their memory burns on within us."
Alistair then motions for the rest of the Confessors to perform the act of lighting. "And these candles are for the countless unknown and unremembered. Some you have all forgotten. Some you will never know. Know that they died to keep you safe. And one day their names will be spoken along with these flames that burn."
And then the group of Inquisitors turns to enter the House of Questions, where these candles line the halls. The faint glow of their depature spilling out of the dark halls of the House of Questions before the doors shut.
