Beware of Charity Scams
Posted by Orazio on 02/04/18
To the Faithful of Arx:
The Faith would simply like to take this moment to remind everyone that, sadly, not all who raise funds for charity are working in the best interests of Gild. One should be generous, but also careful and thoughtful in how one chooses to spend any money marked for charitable donations. The Faith would also like to remind would-be scammers and cheats that the Templars of the Faith take a very, /very/ dim view of misrepresenting one's connections to the Church, as well as taking funds meant for the needy and using them for their own self-promotion and gratification. The Sentinel's Justice is swift, sure, and quite definitive in this regard.
As an additional note: Seraphs of the Church do not generally have children, and certainly do not empower their children to raise funds on their behalf. Embrace Vellichor as well as Gild, and be wise, not simply generous.
By my hand and authority,
Father Orazio, Legate of Concepts, Shield of the Faith
