Passing of Grandmaster Armel Godsworn

It is with a heavy heart that I announce to the Compact that Grandmaster Armel Godsworn of the Knights of Solace fell at the Battle of the Port at Stormwall, holding the line with a few of his Knights while others escaped to safety. This should come as no surprise to any who knew him or had heard of him. He was a man of few words, and in his honor, I won't go on except to say that is as he always was, a traveler on roads without end, path lit by the Goddess Gild.
We will hold a brief memorial for Grandmaster Armel at the beginning of the Orphan's Gala in two weeks' time. As he was a staunch devotee of Gild and her practices of charity, as an orphan himself, and as a man who enjoyed a good party, I think it's as fitting a tribute to him as any other.
