Lisebet doesn't know how to sneak. nope. She however has heard there is something going on, and she is curious to see how sneaky Reese and Isabetta can be. So she wanders over, Ramona coming along with her quietly.
"Hmph, The only thing you're going to prove this day is that you're the loudyest." Isabetta tells Reese in what she seems to think, or looks like she seems to think is a good comeback. "I will not suffer defeat in this." She folds her arms and continues to try to look stern and all glary at Reese. The effect seems forced though, like she's trying too hard.
Waldemai looks through his pouch to see if he's got anything appropriate to a pooch. Alas, poor Dash will remain unsated.
Not sneaky at all, this one. Cullen comes striding in with mail jangling a bit with every step, keen on seeing this odd contest. Upon spotting Reese, he gives her an encouraging smile. "You shall be the sneakiest of them all, I've no doubt. Show them how it is done, Princess." When Lisebet arrives just as non-stealthy as himself, the 'march lord grins and moves over by her to point something out.
Agatha may not be in armor at the moment, but there's just not a sneaky bone in her body. The Big Red Dog, er, princess, has picked out a spot to sit down with a pile of apples and find out what all this sneaky dueling is about. Nice crisp apples that make noisy crunches when bit into and leave juicy trails behind them. "Hello everyone! Are they already off being sneaky somewhere?"
Lisebet smiles as Cullen comes over by her, nodding her head his way. She tilts her head, as he points out whatever it is. She doesn't look at all sneaky, even if she is petite, but she does look like she might cheer for both the princess and the lady equally. She grins at Cullen, replying softly back to him, and then she raises a hand and calls out, "Princess Agatha, hello there. I don't think so, not quite yet. I think they are getting ready."
Drifting through the forest to where everryone has gathered Sasiri looks a bit out of place. The woman with her neatly brush dark curls and outfit of matching blue silks weaves through the trees and manages to find her way to Agatha's side. She smiles to the princess and curtseies politely. "Hello to you as well, and to everyone else too."
Reese looks over to Silas. "I actually think that pink is a good color for every situation, including for sneaky." She says to the Baron, giving him a smile and seeming happy to see him. Reese then waves over to Lisebet. She grins impishly to Isabetta. "Oh, I'm not loud at all." She says while lifting her voice. She then nods to Cullen. Finally she aves to Agatha and smiles to Sasiri.
Reese rises to her slippered feet after a moment, glancing over those gathered here. "Okay, we are going to divide into teams. Who is all joining the contest?" She asks of those gathered here.
Edelma is another one who is not at all sneaky. She hits things - she doesn't ambush them. And, asmost seem to be, she gravitates towards her Princess, dropping down onto the grass beside Agatha, but not before executing the correct fist-on-heart bow. "How are we going to watch a sneaking game? Either we don't see anything, or they're both terrible at being sneaky. Hello, Princess Agatha." She looks over to Sasiri. "Lady ...?"
Isabetta folds her arms and sticks her chin out, "I know none of you want to disappoint the Princess Reese by seeing her humiliation, that is why I am granting everyone who aids me in defeating her a kiss from the Princess!. . . .-" Probably over-promising; ". . . hand puppet. Which I will have painted on an appropriate hand at some point."
Waving at Agatha and Sasiri languidly, Cullen sighs a bit at Lisebet with his head nodding in agreement. "You're right, in this armor I am utterly non sneaky. I rustle of rings of steel and generally am not sneaky at all. Sadly for the entire world of sneaky people, I shall not be able to join their ranks."
Silas unleashes Dash to let him wander around nearby unhindered and moves to lean up against a nearby tree trunk. "I can join a team if they need more numbers to be even, otherwise I'll be an observer. I haven't come prepared." It was a rather impromptu decision.
Waldemai has come to watch. He pulls himself into a tree to give himself a bird's eye view, or maybe a seat like his seat in the rafters of the Golden Hart at the Sunday night fights.
Lisebet and Sasiri's greetings are met with the offer of apples from her pile. "Here, have a snack. If you're going to help you'll need to keep your energy up! I'm Agatha Redrain, by the way." That last is for Sasiri. And then Edelma (OMG, one of those people that inspires her hero worship instincts!) is there and Aggie gestures to the pile of apples. She gets her choice of the shiniest ones there. "I'm not quite sure," she admits. "I mean, I'll join a team if they need me to, but I don't think that's going to go well for the person stuck with me! Her eyes cross at Isabetta's promise of prizes. "I ... what's happening here?"
Isabetta tries to yank Agatha up by the apple, "You're going to be my second or something, if we win I'll call you Danger bear for at least a fortnight, if we lose I'll call you terror bear for at least a fortnight, you win either way." She uses both hands to tug because Agatha is probably a lot heavier than she is.
Reese looks over to Isabetta and her cheeks warm with a pink hue. "She brags a lot." Reese says about Isabetta. Reese then looks over to Cullen, nodding o him. "Oh, well you can join my team if you want." She says, before looking to Silas and nodding. She then watches as Isabetta claims Agatha! "Okay..then it might be Silas and me against Isabetta and Agatha!"
"Wait, you can prepare for something like this?" Lisebet asks, proving just how much of a handicap she would be. She waves to Reese as well, and Isabetta, showing no favouritism at this point. And then over to Agatha to nab a couple apples, passing one over to Cullen if she can. "Have you met Lord Cullen Greenmarch? Oh, and I'm Lisebet Farshaw." Then Isabetta is tugging at Agatha, and Lisebet's eyes widen as she tries immediately to get out of the way.
Edelma, ungrabbed, settles contentedly on the grass and splays her legs out in front of her, grabbing an apple and casting a grin up at Agatha. "Good luck, Princess," she calls cheerfully. "If anyone needs a handicap, I'm your woman. Otherwise, I think I'll just see who I can spot and enjoy Princess Bear's food."
Taking an apple from Lisebet with a smile, "Thank you, Lady Farshaw. An apple would go quite nicely right now." And then Agatha is being yanked in their direction, Cullen throwing his body in front of Lisebet like a human shield, in case the burly redheaded juggernaut isn't stopped in time! "I have a feeling we're about to get well acquainted right now..."
Agatha looks up at Isabetta's game of tug the bear with pure amusement. The part of immovable object is being played by the firmly butt planted Agatha Redrain. She lets Isabetta strain long enough to make a funny show of it and then lurches up to her full six foot height. Bit taller in the boots. "I don't think I can resist those stakes. Okay. Do I just wander off and ... sit like a bear in the woods?" She smirks down at Edelma, now queen of apple mountain
Silas chuckles when Reese seems to claim him for her team. "You're in very dire straits, then, Your Highness. But I'll do my best."
Marigold, a cheeky pygmy goat arrives, delivering a message to Lisebet before departing.
Waldemai groans at the excruciating pyun, or play on words.
Reese looks over to Edelma, giving her a smile. "Oh.." She says in her direction. "I should have brought more food as a spread to this. I'm Princess Reese." She says to the northern warrior. Reese nods to Agatha and Isabetta. "Actually I just changed all the rules right now and you can play to Edelma." What kind of duel is this! "Everyone is going to hide and Isabettal will look for us. Then in round too everyone will hide and I will go look for them. If you are found you can try and run away and rehide. The winner is who can find the most people. If she touches you, you are out of the round."
Cullen watches a goat come and go with a message, glancing at Lisebet with a curious grin. "Goat delivery! Quite handy, that. Also a bit on the different side." Looking over at Reese and Isabetta, "I wonder how this will go, and how much I'll get to see before I have to leave."
Silas checked dexterity + stealth at difficulty 15, rolling 4 higher.
Reese checked dexterity + stealth at difficulty 20, rolling 20 higher.
"Edelma Pierce," the knight replies, bowing again without actually getting up. "It's good to meet you, Princess." She bites into her apple, glances around, shrugs, and clambers to her feet. "Well, why not? I need the practice. Good luck to me." She taps herself on the chest, bows to Reese, and scoots off into the foliage.
Isabetta rolls her eyes and covers her face by turning to a tree and starts counting really REALLY loud. "Onne and Two.. Three I'm gonna get Reese, Four and Five, and her friends too, Six and Seven, and a big bear princess." She isn't peaking or anything, just keeping her head facing the tree.
Agatha gets a stunning cloak of deepest umbra from Red Bear of the North backpack.
Edelma checked dexterity + stealth at difficulty 15, rolling 4 lower.
Reese darts into the woods wearing her lots of pink. This is kind of silly, she could have toned down those colors. She finds a copse of summer berry bushes in the distance and perches behind such.
Lisebet takes her message and smiles as she reads it. "Lady Amari Keaton," she says to Cullen. "I'd sent her a message earlier and she responded via goat. That's quite something." NOw she just watches the shenanigans, amused, and starts eating her apple. "Thanks, Princess Agatha."
Agatha checked dexterity + stealth at difficulty 10, rolling 21 higher.
Silas "slinks" off into the greenery of the forest, clinking the entire way but being sensible enough to at least find an appropriately large shrubbery to cloak himself. Hopefully all the noise everyone else makes while trying to hide will help him out.
Agatha is on Isabetta's team! Or at least that's the last she heard. So she's going to take a good bit of time to stomp around shooing at people to go and hide. Including Lisebet, Cullen, well, everyone. "New rules! Go hide! See? Princess Reese said so." It only registers that she's supposed to hide as well when Isabetta is getting close to the end of her count. So it's way more the pure agility and athleticism that sees her putting a lot of distance between herself and Isabetta 'the hunter' Gilden than any pretense at stealth. At least the cloak blends in well
Waldemai watches as the guard corgi sits, carefully not disclosing his master's location.
Isabetta checked perception + survival at difficulty 20, rolling 5 higher.
Isabetta finishes counting and starts her search! She looks high and low, up and down, near and far. Not really though, she just starts where she thinks she heard people going. See Agatha?! It -IS- about stealth. The first person she notices is Edelma. Of course she needs to touch her, so she'll. . Try to sneak up on the hiding knight while pretending not to notice where she is.
Isabetta checked dexterity + stealth at difficulty 15, rolling 6 higher.
Edelma checked perception + survival at difficulty 15, rolling 32 higher.
Lisebet stays by Cullen as he gives her that speculative look. There's a definite innocent glance his way followed by a wide eyed, if fake, "Is something amiss?" She tucks her message away, without giving him any further information on what her message is about.
Edelma checked dexterity + athletics at difficulty 15, rolling 9 higher.
Of course, Edelma sticks out like a sore thumb, but her ears are better than her hiding skills. So she catches Isabetta's approach ... so she does one of the things she is good at, poses, and takes off to hopefully escape and live to hide another round.
Silas does not make a very unsubtle shrubbery. Thankfully, he is not the intended target. He remains in his hiding place and earnestly watches the predator go for its prey...
Isabetta checked dexterity + athletics at difficulty 15, rolling 2 lower.
Reese keeps crouched behind the shrugs, she is pretty well hidden considering she is in pink. She tries to game, looking all into such.
Isabetta arghs! and gives chase, raring as she... gradually loses more and more ground and then eventually gives up and goves after Silas instead because luckily he does stick out like a sore thumb, this time she just charges at him full on.

Reese is behind the bush and starts to giggle as she watches.
SEE? It -is- all about the dexterity, not the stealth. Cause the time for holding still comes and that? That Aggie is Very Bad At.
Edelma uses the target change to creep off into the woods again. To hide again, or give up and go back for another apple? She eyes the ongoing chase, then shrugs. Might as well see it through, right? And chooses a spot where she can hopefully watch, the fun. She conceals herself in thick shrubbery. At least she's in good leathers.
Edelma checked dexterity + stealth at difficulty 30, rolling 5 lower.
Isabetta holy cow, Silas is fast, Isabetta is like, not even going to try. Instead she turns her attention over to Reese and decides to run after her instead, just charge and maybe catch her off guard. RAR!
Isabetta checked dexterity + athletics at difficulty 30, rolling 13 lower.
Waldemai nearly falls out of his tree laughing at the "duel."
Silas makes an attempt to hide again as Isabetta fails to catch Edelma, but it is futile: Isabetta is charging right at where he previously was, and he is making far too much noise to really succeed in fooling her. Unfortunately for Isabetta, he is also the Lord Commander of the Iron Guard... which means he does a -lot- of running in full plate, and it somehow doesn't seem to deter him much at all in being quick and nimble. Sure, it makes him sweat, but that's something he's used to as well. When the woman finally gives up on the chase, he quickly attempts to find another hiding place before she sets his sights on him again...
Reese seems all amused by this and tries to bite back a giggle. She is being epic not sneaky right now as most can see her pink from behind the bush and hear her sounds of amusement. Maybe she could from someone who is both hearing and sight impaired though. Isabetta could run up to her, but she could also snake around and try to sneak up on Reese
Lisebet watches the goings-on, quietly. "You know, Cullen, I'm not so sure we'd be that much of a handicap," she observes.
Silas checked dexterity + stealth at difficulty 30, rolling 7 lower.
Isabetta eventually slows and goes the sneaking route, trying to stalk Reese like a cat and go for the pounce from behind, like the Lion King! The first part, before the sad part.
Isabetta checked dexterity + stealth at difficulty 15, rolling 4 higher.
Reese checked perception + survival at difficulty 15, rolling 11 lower.
Agatha checked dexterity + stealth at difficulty 10, rolling 11 higher.
"I don't think so either, to be honest. I thought I would be awful compared to everyone else, but..." Shrugging slightly and rolling his eyes, Cullen grins at Lisebet afterwards.
Reese is peeking off in front of her, trying to watch for who Isabetta will go for next. She seems pretty clueless and would be easy to tag.
Pawn, the courtier's apprentice arrives, delivering a message to Cullen before departing.
Isabetta pounces! Rar! Its going to be a jump of Isabetta and Reese in a pile, by gods if she can't get anyone else.
Watching Isabetta stalk Reese, Edelma catches Silas trying to rehide out of the corner of her eye and waves him over to hr nice, thick clump of brush and bushes with a 'Well, here's as good as any!' expression. Of course she noticed him. He's wearing armour that, frankly, makes her green with envy.
Reese yelps as Isabetta pounces her. "Hey!" She says, but her words are followed by a giggle. Her cheeks are pink and she seems to be in a happy sort of mood despite being caught. "I guess you got me, Isabetta." She says softly in her direction.
Silas spots Edelma, and communicates with her in twig sign language. The gestures seem to convey something along the lines of "we're screwed". And, predictably, Reese and Isabetta go tumbling in a pile of limbs nearby.
Isabetta tries to keep on top of Reese and calls out to the other hiders, "Listen and Listen well. I -WILL- NOT LOSE!" She exclaims and gets that >< look. "So I have Princess Reese and I am holding her Hostage if you want her you have to save her!" She tries to peek Reese pinned and straddling her hips.
Edelma cocks her head to the left, waggling her eyebrows at Silas from her shrubbery and glancing over at the battling ladies. "Is it our job to save her?" she mutters, to anybody within muttering hearing range. "I'm not sure that was really in the terms..."
Reese seems to go along with this change in the game, but she doesn't struggle against Isabetta, she just giggles. "Help, save me!" She says as if only trying to encourage this.
Silas peeks up from his shrubbery at the threat, revealing where he was but directing his attention at Isabetta. "Perhaps we can come to an agreement: I can give you delectable honey cakes if you let her go." Negotiations!
Elizabetta, a disapproving lady-in-waiting, Lily, an aloof lady-in-waiting, Valor, a small brown and white corgi puppy, Clark, an exasperated guard arrive, following Sabella.
"I refuse!" Isabetta says, still holding Reese down and all sorts of trying to prevent her from escaping. "If you want Princess Reese returned to you then you must come and save her, perhaps.." She looks thoughtful, "You need more incentive." She looks at Reese, then goes for... The -tickles-. She tries to get Reese under the chin, cause gods where else.
Reese checked composure at difficulty 15, rolling 12 higher.
Waldemai spots a Corgi puppy and asks Dash the Guard Corgi, "What have you been up to, then, hmmm?"
Reese seems to be having fun and seems to be going along with the change in the duel. It doesn't even look like she is seriously trying to escape from Isabetta, but she does do a dramatic fake show of such failing her arms and everything. The tickle though she seems pretty immune to. Allegedly this is a duel, but it seems to have got really silly.
Sabella comes running into the forest from the city like the hounds of the Abyss are on her heels! Actually, she's not fast at all and she pauses to lean over, hands on her skirts, gasping for breath, "Am I--too late--to--" she pants a couple more times, leaning a hand against a tree, "Hold on I--might die--right here--running is--not okay--in a corset."
Indeed, the silent corgi takeover has begun. Dash valiantly attempts to save Reese by... jumping in and licking both ladies indiscriminately. Silas sighs and stands from his shrubbery, looking defeated. "Alas, it looks like we have no choice but to surrender if we wish to save the Princess from the tickles."
Reese looks over to Sabella, giving her a smile and seemingly all happy to see her sister here.
Isabetta has touches Silas! Or been touched by Silas and she holds up a couple fingers, "Two! I have gotten two!" She exclaims, then lets Reese up and asks, "How long until my time is up? Did you forget to make a time rule?
Reese gets licked by Dash! She awws and got reaches out to pet the corgi. "We forgot that part." Reese says toward Isabetta. "But I think its almost my turn." She murmurs.
Sabella straightens up and then shrieks, shaking her hand out, "Ah! An ant! What is an ant doing on a tree?!" She shudders and hugs her arms to herself before moving over to see what's happening. "Did I miss all the hide and seek? That's probably for the best. I am not good at it. Reese! What do you need me to do?"
Only once this is said does Edelma stand up from her bushes and stretch. The newest arrival gets a grin. "Just watch the tres in case there are spiders," she says with a little gleam in her eye. "My Lady."
Isabetta tries to charge Edelma again! This time she -will- get her and goes for the pounce, kind of like how she caught Reese.
Isabetta checked dexterity + athletics at difficulty 15, rolling 12 higher.
Sabella checked composure at difficulty 15, rolling 7 higher.
Silas gets touch and momentarily hangs his head in shame... only to perk up right afterward and give Dash some scritches for his attempt. "Duck!" He calls out to Edelma when she's pounced at.
She has been hiding SO WELL no one noticed, right? Nope. Oriana, delayed, slinks into the space, maybe she can get the lay of the land, slip in and none will be the wiser...
Edelma checked dexterity + athletics at difficulty 20, rolling 6 higher.
Reese looks over to Sabella. "Oh, go and try to hide! There are a only a few more bugs if you deeper into woods." She says in he direction. She then looks between Isabetta and Edelma, seemingly amused.
Oriana checked dexterity + stealth at difficulty 15, rolling 20 higher.
Sabella checked dexterity + stealth at difficulty 15, rolling 5 lower.
"Spiders!?" Sabella manages not to shriek this time, but she shudders again and looks around like they're just going to attack at any moment! She narrows her eyes at Reese, but grins, "Okay. Maybe I will! And I'll hide so well you'll never find me!" She then turns and walks face first into a tree, falling back into a bush.
Attending to Sabella's bug problem rather than the apparently no longer hunting Isabetta, Edelma is shamefully caught off guard! She glances back at Silas's call juuuust in time to get pounced by Isabetta! Down she goes ungracefully on her butt. Very warrior of her. But surprise is a hell of a thing. She even does a little surprised yelp/oof. "Ah!" She instinctively grabs Isabetta. "You are fast!"
Cullen blinks at Sabella as she walks straight into a tree and crashes into a bush, Cullen helpfully points out, "Princess Sabella, that one has a spider nest in it. But the good part is that it'll just be a swarm of baby spiders instead of the big hairy ones. Probably." Nudging Lisebet with his elbow slightly, he grins with a look of mischief.
Silas checked perception + survival at difficulty 15, rolling 11 higher.
"It looks like we've been soundly defeated," Silas opines, before glancing off in the direction Sabella sneaks off to and squinting. "Are the trees on our side?"
Archimedes the White Horned Owl arrives, delivering a message to Cullen before departing.
Isabetta breaths deeply the smell of success, kind of like earth and leaves and sweat and shame. "Hi, I'm Isabetta Gilden, nice to meet you." Isabetta tells the pounced Edelma, "And I think it is Reese's turn, I got three points." She lets the knight up.
"Oh!" Reese says and rises to her slippered feet. "It is my turn, everyone hide!" She says turns about and covers her eyes. She starts counting.
Sabella rubs her poor forehead and nose, but is then up like a newly shot arrow when Cullen talks about spiders, turning around in a circle as she tries to shake out her dress and her hair, "What!? Are there any on me?! Oh gods, I can feel them crawling!" And then Reese tells everyone to hide again and she gives the tree a suspicious look. She's not falling for that again, tree!
Oriana, watching from her hiding spot, is trying to piece together just what is happening. Chaos, from the looks of it. She will continue to observe... from the shadows... wooowoooOOoooOoo... OH! HIDE! She can do that! She's already doing that! Oriana hunkers into her hiding spot.
Sabella checked dexterity + stealth at difficulty 20, rolling 5 lower.
Edelma claps Isabetta on the shoulder, then gets to her feet, brushing dirt and twigs off her leathers. "Dame Edelma Pierce. Nice to meet you. I don't meet many people like that." She grins. But before hiding again, she goes and grabs another apple out of Agatha's pile. Might as well be well-fed when utterly failing to hide in a forest.
Oriana checked dexterity + stealth at difficulty 20, rolling 17 higher.
Edelma checked dexterity + stealth at difficulty 15, rolling 4 higher.
Sabella looks around and there's a lot of green. Then she looks down at herself, in bright pinks and purples and frowns a bit. This is going to be very difficult! But then she gets a brilliant idea and sneaks over, very loudly, to stand right behind Reese. It's the perfect crime! Just not a perfect hiding place.
Silas checked dexterity + stealth at difficulty 15, rolling 4 higher.
Agatha checked dexterity + stealth at difficulty 10, rolling 36 higher.
Isabetta checked dexterity + stealth at difficulty 15, rolling 11 higher.
Isabetta runes off to hide too, "I wonder where Agatha went." Probably eaten.
Silas does something different this time. He hides -in- a tree, like a sloth.
Agatha isn't stealthy, really she isn't! Even a little. It may be that she's wandered on out past where most of the game is taking place and just didn't quite notice. The princess may be in another castle, Mari-reese.
Reese checked perception + survival at difficulty 15, rolling 33 higher.
Reese finally stops counting and looks around. She notices Sabella first, maybe because she is right there. Reese then smiles impisly and tries to touch her sister's shoulder. "Sabella!"

Sabella checked dexterity + dodge at difficulty 15, rolling 10 higher.
"I need to head back to finish talking to the Countess, I regret not having joined in the sneaky festivities now," Cullen says rather sadly to Reese with a grin to Lisebet. "I think we could have been contenders!"
Sabella goes to pull away, but Reese is too quick! "Aw, I thought you'd move slower and I could just shadow you without you noticing the whole time!" Says a princess who clearly has no idea how terrible she is at sneaking!
Reese looks to Sabella with this wide-eyed and yet still amused expression. "Um..." She says in her direction, but then she gives her a smile. "Okay, now I need to find Isabetta..." She says, looking about.
Lisebet waves as Cullen heads out. She stays where she is, watching the fun quietly. Today is not her day for joining in.
Silas checked dexterity + stealth at difficulty 30, rolling 17 lower.
Silas crawls further into his tree. He is the most obvious armored human-sloth.
Oriana checked composure + stealth at difficulty 15, rolling 13 higher.
Edelma checked composure + stealth at difficulty 15, rolling 11 lower.
Edelma is doing a great job! By her standards of stealth, anyway. Until she spots Silas in his tree, bedecked in his lovely armour, and snorts very very loudly. Covering her mouth and nose with a hand doesn't help. The snorts of laughter just keep on coming.
Oriana stays put. Since no one knows she's here yet, that seems the prudent thing.
Agatha checked composure + stealth at difficulty 10, rolling 3 lower.
You know how Aggie may not be sure if she's still in the vicinity of the game? She may have forgotten the game entirely as she begins humming some old marching song about ... well, she's not sure the lyrics are right. But it's boisterous and awful and merry.
Isabetta checked dexterity + stealth at difficulty 30, rolling 8 lower.
"Princess Agatha!" Sabella calls out brightly, helping to ruin the moment with a bunch of waving, "Look! Niklas got me a fish!" She points to the silk fish in her hair.
Isabetta is doing a pretty awful job, maybe bringing her hunting gear was a mistake, maybe a quiver full of arrows that click together was a mistake. Her only saving grace is a lot of the other people here are as bad or worse than her.
Reese starts in the direction of Isabetta, although she seems to see several of the people here. She doesn't even try to sneak up on her, but charges! "Lady Isabetta, I see you!" She says.
Reese checked dexterity + athletics at difficulty 15, rolling 21 higher.
Isabetta checked dexterity + athletics at difficulty 15, rolling 3 higher.
Isabetta eeks! And takes off in the opposite direction, but gah, that little minx is fast! Isabetta can't seem to outrun her and feels like a hare.
Reese darts after Isabetta, touching against her shoulder and seemingly all amused. "Oh, I got you!" She says, looking all pleased with herself.
Agatha turns her head at the sound of her name. What, fish? "My bearhusband got you a fish? I thought he was supposed to be buying his way out of ...OH! Wait, we should be trying to be quiet. Come show me your fish all quiet like." So. Stealthy!
Reese peeks over to Agatha and gasps! "What kind of stealth contest is this, Princess Agatha." She says teasingly in her direction.
Silas has rolled a critical success!
Silas checked dexterity + stealth at difficulty 30, rolling 24 higher.
Isabetta rounds on Reese and tries to turn the tables by pouncing her again! "Muahahah!" She exclaims in the tussle, "If I have you then you cannot tag anyone else and I will win by one point!
Silas goes from being the most obvious human sloth to a ninja human sloth in his tree. Perhaps he's also a wizard.
Light snoring issues from the bushes. Thankfully, it's summer, so it could just be insect noise, right? Cicadas? Not Oriana falling asleep.
Waldemai climbs back into his tree after falling out. Drink much, smith?
"I don't know. It's your contest," Agatha points out. Reasonably. Which is saying something when the Bear is the voice of reason.
Sabella moves over to Agatha quietly, which is to say she steps on every branch that could possibly be stepped on as she does so, pointing to her hair, "I can have him get one of them for you too! Isn't it lovely? I thought it was very clever because I would not have wanted to get an actual fish!"
"You make a good point." Reese says toward Agatha. "I did make up this contest." She adds with a dawning awareness, likely that the fault of the silly is upon her shoulders. She then blinks. "I think someone might be snoring? Someone should go take them and wake them up." She suggests, changing the rules yet again. Reese looks over to Sabella. "I wonder if he could get a pink fish?" She asks, seemingly fully distracted and well she would be easy for Isabetta to pounce now.
Edelma shiftyeyes from the trees, trying to find the source of the snoring without moving anything but her eyes. How successful she is really depends.
Agatha whistles softly at the craftsmanship of The Great Arvian fish-sticks (Hair sticks?). "Those are pretty. BUT! We should get bakc to hiding again. C'mon. We can do this!
Pounce. Isabetta is trying to land on top of Reese, yet again in order to prevent her from finding anyone else. She's going to use all of her weight to keep the pink minx down which is probably only going to work because Reese isn't taking this half as serious as Isabetta is.
Edelma checked perception + survival at difficulty 15, rolling 18 higher.
Reese is pounced! She giggles and seems amused by the whole situation. "Oh." She says, looking about the forest as if trying to locate who is snoring. "I think you won Isabetta." She says toward her, but then adds. "Because...I cannot help to be really loud and in more ways than the pink." She says, speaking to how talky and not discrete she has been during this game in general.
Reese checked perception + survival at difficulty 15, rolling 20 higher.
Isabetta sighs a bit and tells Reese, "I am pretty sure I only won because you didn't try, you're just in far too good shape. I have a proposal, let us both agree that Princess Agatha wins and aware her the title of stealth bear. No one came close to finding her."
Sabella starts to say something to Agatha, but then she's gone and Elizabetta is handing her a note, "Ah, Reese, I have to abandon you! Sorry! Not that I was helping..." She glances around, "And I think there are more people here...somewhere? But I have to go!" Go take a bath and make sure there are no spiders anywhere, thanks Cullen!
Reese gives Isabetta a sheepish smile. "I know I am far too loud in general and I didn't want to beat you int his Lady Isabetta." She confesses, but keeps her voice quite soft, adding a moment later. "But I had so much fun and well more fun than in a long time and thank you." She murmurs before, looking over the woods. "Agatha..." She says, trying to find her. "Her and I can't find whoever is snoring. Yay, stealth Bear Princess!" She says, apparently agreeing with Isabetta's idea.
Edelma peers around, stealthily creeping through the trees. Well, as stealthily as she can. She's gonna find the snorer! Maybe.
Elizabetta, a disapproving lady-in-waiting, Lily, an aloof lady-in-waiting, Valor, a small brown and white corgi puppy, Clark, an exasperated guard leave, following Sabella.

Oriana startles awake. She snoozed long enough to miss declaring Agatha the winner, so as far as she knows the hunt is still on. Sitting very still, she listens carefully. In future years, there will be legends of a person in these woods, who is never seen - only heard - a person who is going to find bug bites in really, really uncomfortable places tomorrow.

Silas continues to observe from the foilage of his chosen tree. On a whim, he imitates owl hoots. They're terrible imitations.

Isabetta reluctantly lets Reese up. "Wait, I'm confuised is it possible someone was here we didn't even know about?" She peers around but can't seem to recall, she starts counting on her fingers and hands, "I am pretty sure we saw everyone. Oh his Princess Seballa."
Reese gets let up and she peeks over the area. "Well Silas is over there." She says, pointing toward him. "And.." She adds softly. "There is something there in the bushes snoring." She murmurs, gesturing over to where Oriana is. "We have a secret infiltrator or something."
"I am not Silas!" Silas protests from above. "I'm an owl."
"Or a hawk, a whitehawk!" Reese calls back to Silas. She then heads in his direction. "I'm going to climb up the tree, cause I'm a squirrel." She says and tries to scamper up the tree to tag him.
Isabetta slowly edges behind Reese, "Whoever it is, probably is dangerous." She bites her bottom lip and edges a little farther behind Reese.

Reese stops climbing she looks torn her gaze shifting to Silas up in the tree and toward the bushes she thinks hides the mysterious stranger. "They could be dangerous.." She adds and actually sounds serious now. "One does never know." She then lets Isabetta get behind her and starts to where Oriana is hiding.
Oriana checked composure + stealth at difficulty 30, rolling 9 higher.
Oriana hunkers lower in her hiding spot are they all seeking her now. What the- Mentally she maps the terrain behind her. There's a tree to her right she can run headlong into Sabella style. She could clamber up the one she's near ala Silas. Dangerous? Are they playing her? Is this mental hide and seek now? She doesn't take that obvious bait! Breathing deep and slow. Be the bush. Be the bugs. Be the shadows. In... out...
"Noooo," he whines and begins to climb even further up his tree... to the point where it'd actually look dangerous if he fell down. Silas wisely decides to stop his climb, but luckily Reese opts to go chase after the mysterious hider instead!
Reese starts in Oriana's direction, moving with her cat-like grace. She pushes back brush, trying to find Oriana and probably spotitng her.
Oriana crinkles her nose as Reese spots her and makes a line to her. "TADA!" she announces! "So! How do we play?"
Silas watches on, clutching the tree trunk. "Flee! She's gonna tag you!" He attempts to warn Oriana.
Reese does try to tag Oriana! She darts in her direction and reaches out with her gloved hand.

Oriana jerks at the shouted command to flee and - too late - turns to do so...
Isabetta stares at Oriana and then coughs politely, "I think the lady needs to be involved in the next .. duel." She says the last word as if she's paying lipservice to the notion of this being a duel at all. "Or the giant pillow fight in Reese's tower we're going to have next and very soon."
"Welp, you tried," Silas replies with a cringe. "But yes, she should be invited to the rematch. It's only fair."
Reese is able to sweep her fingertips over Oriano's shoulder, successfully tagging the woman. She gives her a smile that touches her blue eyes. "Oh, Lady Oriana, hi." She says, before looking to Isabetta. "She can come to such. I didn't know I was having a pillow fight, but I can. Maybe on the rooftop. I don't think anyone will fall off." Reese say and then lifts her gaze to Silas, giving him a smile as well.

Silas begins the slow, careful processes of climbing -down- the tree while in full plate. It is a tricky process, but he manages to avoid scraping the trunk and getting snagged on the boughs. "So... does this conclude with a tie?" He inquires once his two feet are firmly on the ground.
Oriana wilts at the contact of Reese's hand and she slouches to a halt. She's festooned with twigs and leaves. "The very same. Reporting for Hide-and-seek Duty, Highness." Oriana, decked in her Explorer finest, gives an exaggerated salute. "So. This seemed like a good practice." She coughs and ducks her head, "We were late coming back from Stormwall, Princess. Else, I'd have been on time." She straightens under scrutiny and adds, "Alas, I am much too grave for a pillow-ffff." A bit of her hair has come free and is draping tickly across her cheek, "-Pillow-fffff!" She gives up and scrubs at the tickly hair, "Pillow fight."
Isabetta looks skeptical at Oriana then sticks her nose in the air and says, "Really, do you honestly think that Princess Reese would get involved in a pillow fight that was not grave and to first blood? What sort of person do you think I am? A person that plays around?" She tries to really sell the whole serious thing and offended thing to Oriana.
Reese peeks between Isabetta and Oriana. "Well with this I conclude the duel to be over with." She say softly, before adding. "Yes, I am way to serious for a pillow fight. Somber and serious and well...." She says, but seems to be teasing.
