Obituary: Died under mysterious circumstances following rumors of shadows being seen in her shop. Allegedly poisoned by Smiling Shadows assassins, but some claim natural causes.
Description: Age silvered blonde hair is kept coiled and pinned -- not elegantly, but practically, keeping Myrinda's hair from falling into her eyes. Her gaze is a steady, clear blue; capable of harshness, her gaze has gentled as time has softened the cold beauty of her face. There is still strength in the proud lines: her high cheeks and bridged nose, and a firm mouth that wears smiles well, but rarely. She carries herself upright, too wise for pride, but immense in dignity.
Personality: Myrinda is old enough to know what she wants and go for it. She has little time left to play around like the young kids do; if she thinks something, she says it. If she doesn't like someone, she avoids it. It is easy to tell where you stand with Myrinda but not easy to change it. She is too old to learn new tricks, unless of course, it has to do with fashion. She is a fierce protector of family, especially her sons for all that they're already grown. All in all, she is a very no-nonsense woman with a large streak of perfectionism.
Background: Myrinda Grayhope, nee Viest, was born and raised in the city of Arx. Her mother served in the palace while her father found odd jobs as a day laborer. Growing up, there were not many options for her, but she knew that she didn't want the life her parents had. That is how she met her husband, a Grayhope that swept her away with romantic notions in her younger years. Married for almost a decade, with Fortunato still a babe and Aureth a toddle, she decided to suddenly divorce her husband. Remaining in the Lower Boroughs, she found a job as a seamstress to put her skills to work, growing her reputation until she not only had her own shop, but now people come to her begging for her to take their commissions.
