Alberico, the Malespero aide, 1 Malespero Guard, Louis, a Malespero Armsman, Mar, the Magpie arrive, following Pasquale.
Umi, the curious turtle, 1 Kennex corsairs arrive, following Titania.
Even in winter, somehow Medeia has managed to find flowers in abundance. From the gate of Seawatch Sanctuary to the door, the walkway is lined with bright pink flower arrangements and oversized bows that lead guests into the foyer. Ken (yes, that's been his name for years), the sanctuary's steward, greets everyone and has a small army of hired staff at his command to take cloaks and escort guests into the ballroom. Within, more servants are at the ready to bring drinks and food.
The ballroom itself is filled with more flowers and bows. White furs have been draped around the sofas in case anyone is chilly and wishes for the warmth, but the hearths are all lit with toasty fires. Tables are covered with pink tablecloths and pink candles in golden holders. The bar is fully stocked with more wine and spirits than most taverns, and at least two tables have been laden with every kind of sweet and savory party food a person could want. On the dance floor, a trio of musicians play lively songs and some dancers and acrobats are around to entertain.
Amid this all is Medeia, holding a glass of white wine in one hand. She is also dressed in pink (and red - there's a whole grape theme to the outfit) brocade, grinning brilliantly as she welcomes people in.
Although Pasquale has taken to using his cane again he doesn't seem to be in that poor of a mood, responding to something Jan said with a soft laugh. It's not a full laugh, just the first syllable really, but a laugh nontheless. He steps away from Jan to give Medeia a near-kiss on each cheek. "Grapes. My favorite. Happy birthday Medeia."
Jan arrives alongside Pasquale, eyeing the choice of decoration with something that might be morbid fascination, murmuring something to Pasquale briefly before he steps away. At the grapes comment Pasquale gets a look as if he'd sprouted a second head or stomped on a puppy. She shakes it off and offers "Happy Birthday, Lady Medeia. This place looks amazing."
Daoud, a Harrow Banshee arrives, following Cufre.
Looking rather out of place at a party of any sort, much less one filled with bright colors, Cosimo enters the ballroom with a slightly surprised expression. Brushing some snowflakes off of his black seasilk, his morose expression allows a faint smile for Medeia. "Lady Medeia. Happy birthday to you. It's absolutely quite, well. Colorful."
3 First Legion Centurions, 3 Setarcan Royal Shields arrive, following Patrizio.
Titania moves into the ball room slipping in really, she does not like to call attention to herself really. She has a cloak wrapped around her form to keep herself warm, her blue eyes look around blinking a soft smile coming to her lips.
Medeia cheerfully returns Pasquale's near-kisses, placing her free hand on his forearm briefly in the process. She glances at Jan, taking note of that strange look she gives Pasquale. "My lady, did you not know Pasq grew up among vineyards? I actually keep intending to have him by Saikland's to pick his brain for his expertise." Her smile returns as she nods her head to them both. "Thank you for coming! Please, have as much as wine and cake as you like. There are bedrooms upstairs should anyone not wish to make the drunken trip home in the weather." At that, she turns and, somehow, brightens in surprise at seeing Cosimo. "Marquis, welcome to Seawatch Sanctuary." She reaches out a hand, leaning in to offer the customary Lycene cheek-kiss greeting. His comment about color has her laughing as she looks around. "But of course! What else should it be? Do you know the others? Lord Pasquale Malespero, Lady Jan Kennex, Lady Titania Kennex?" She looks at Titania invitingly when she slips in.
Jan smiles wryly at Medeia "I did. I also know that he has an exceptional palate where wine is concerned. No doubt your brain-picking will serve you well." She bows her head and answers bemusedly "Yes, we've met. Hello Marquis."
The weather outside is frightful, but it's all the more excuse to be somewhere delightful. And so it goes when there's as-subtle-as-is-possible arrival of Patrizio Pravus and his retinue, with the soldiers left behind closer the door, and his heavy cloak cast off as quickly as he can, as if to let the warmth of the room better find him through the silks beneath. Jade eyes briefly scan the room, and then he's briefly dipping his head to Titania, in whose wake he arrives, before there's the smile cast to the hostess of the evening. "Congratulations on your birthday, and may it be a good year for you, my lady," offers he to Medeia with warmth, before he's inclining his head to the others in turn. "My lords, my ladies, messere. I hope I'm not /too/ late." Even if, given his blue-and-steel, pink is not quite his hue. Or white.
"I fear my expertise is limited to keeping people from bothering the vintners and drinking their product." Pasquale tells Medeia. "But I'm honored you would think that I must know something." he looks to Jan. "But I did live in a place where the vineyards were everything." he inclines his head when the hostess declares all the drink is available to them and then draws Jan off to collect a bit of food and some wine. He murmurs something to Jan as he piles something onto a place and gives another of those soft exhale laughs at her response. "Would you at least wear it first?" He nods to Cosimo.
Pasquale has joined the central hearths with luxurious seating.
Unplanned is Cufre's alignment with the scheme, which may be why her pinks tilt into purples rather than reds. She smiles pleasantly to the steward as she declines the offer to take her shawl and cloak, and she nearly declines the offer of a drink but rethinks that. So it's with drink in hand that she approaches Medeia. She maintains a privacy-permitting distance between herself (and her guard) and those offering greetings to the honoree until the opportunity to close in arises. "Happy Birthday, Lady Medeia!" She enthuses, offering a square of embroidered cloth to the noblewoman.
Jan has joined the central hearths with luxurious seating.
Jan admits "Well I suppose I would be obligated to wear it, yes." she cedes with a slight grimace. Her expression brightens considerably as she loads a plate up with food and then sheepishly stops piling food on her plate and goes to claim a spot at the hearths.
Cosimo appears a bit surprised at Medeia's bright reception and returns the traditional Lycene greeting with a swift kiss on both cheeks, smiling a bit more afterwards. "Oh, no, it's an awful lot of pink, that's all. Very vibrant. One surely could not miss it." Afterwards, his eyes run over the massive collection of booze. He asks a servant politely for a glass of of peach brandy, then greets Titania, Jan and Pasquale with a familiar smile and a dip of his head. "I do know them, actually. Lady Jan, Lady Titania, Lord Pasquale. Always a pleasure to see you all." He glances over at Patrizio and Cufre with a tilt of his head, "I do not think I know you two. Marquis-Regent Cosimo Tessere. Greetings, my pleasure."
Medeia gives Patrizio a vivid grin and lift of her glass when he enters. "Highness, welcome! Thank you so much. It is off to a fabulous start, no?" The lady makes an encompassing gesture to the assembled guests and gorgeously appointed ballroom. Cufre's approach is met with delight. "Cufre! I am so glad to see you!" To Cosimo she gives a nod and quick introduction. "This is Prince Patrizio Pravus, and this is Harlequin Cufre Harrow - my protege. She's also a fantastic jeweler!" Medeia motions to the very jewelry she is wearing in emphasis.
Only a faint bit of surprise finds Patrizio when Cosimo introduces himself to the others, and when Medeia introduces him, the prince offers his hand to the marquis. "My lord. My deepest condolences. I had occasion to share time and words now and again with your predecessor, and his loss will be felt keenly, not only by those who claimed him by blood, but by the Compact entire." As serious as his expression is, though, there's still a smile when he's turning his gaze back to the hostess, taking the moment to admire Cufre's work, before finding his voice anew. "It would seem to be so. We should all be so blessed to have smiling faces and warm hearts to surround ourselves at such a time."
Titania looks behind her and her ocean blue eyes light up. "Your highness, it has been a while it is good to see you." she looks to Medeia and smiles, "Lady medeia, happy birthday." she moves over to greet her, then her eyes look to Cosimo, "Marquis Cosimo, it is nice to see you once again." she smiles softly looking to him, her eyes lingering then she hears her cousins voice, her feet take her in that direction.
"Why?" Pasquale asks Jan, kneading at his left thigh when he doesn't think anyone is looking. "If you hate something that much why not just tear it up and throw it back at the giver?"
"I wouldn't miss it, once I heard of it, my lady, though I'm not here for long." Cufre says to Medeia. She takes a step back to offer curtseys to accompany her introduction. She doesn't speak words to chase it other than her thanks to her patron for the compliment. A second step pivots her to move away from the hub of conversation forming around Medeia and into a space of her own to sample her drink.
Jan shrugs "Because that's what spoiled brats do. It could cost a lot of silver. Someone spent time and care into it. Someone else would doubtlessly be glad to have it. Sometimes my wearing something I don't love makes someone else happy."
"Except" Pasquale notes to Jan "If the giver knew full well you'd hate it. Why indulge them?" His eyes drift to the alcohol selection "Is that Nodoji?"
"Oh. I have heard of you, Your Highness. It is fortuitous to meet you and place name and face together," Cosimo utters to Patrizio with a respectful dip of the head, then he lets out a morose sigh. "Yes, losing Gaspar is a heavy blow. Yet another tragedy. It makes me dread for myself and my nephew. I have increased the guard at the villa, but how do you guard against falls from a horse or fires?" Shaking his head, he looks over Medeia's jewelry before approaching Cufre. Again, a nod of respect before speaking. "Harlequin Cufre? You seem rather talented. Do you make pieces by commission? Also, if one wishes to speak of matters about the Queen of Endings, are you available to do such?" He notices Titania's bright greeting and smiles in return, "Lady Titania! Surely we will have to catch up, I am delighted to see you again."
Jan considers thoughtfully "It depends. Maybe just to prove I'm not so easily baited, that someone can't get my goat so easy. Wearing it could become an act of defiance." she grins wryly "Or a badge of honor. You've never worn something you didn't love?
"You should wear things that make you happy," Medeia says in Jan's direction, having caught a bit of the conversation. She twists a little to make the velvet of her skirt flare and swish around her in emphasis. Then she takes a moment to carefully look at the item Cufre handed her, her expression full of appreciation for the details. A 'thank you' is mouthed to the Harlequin before the lady moves to hand it to a servant to take away for safekeeping. Then she drifts to stand near Patrizio. "I am lucky, indeed. Cake?" An invitation is made to the table laden with treats.
Titania smiles, "We will have to do so M'lord." she smiles at Cosimo, her attention is pulled to her cousin and Pasquale. She moves to sneak up behind Jan to wrap her arms around her in a hug. A never not normal thing for Titania but she has done it! She looks to Pasquale and smiles giving him a small finger wave, "Hello Pasquale."
"Sometimes I dont want to wear clothes but force myself" Pasquale tells Jan "But no, I've never worn something I hated just because it was a gift. I'd say thank you, tuck it away in the wardrobe, and then send it to Raja once enough time has passed." he gives Medeia a nod and then looks to Titania. "If someone you loved gave you a hideous dress would you wear it?" he looks to Cosimo. "Would you?"
"It'd seem an awful shame to tear up a work and treat a gift so," Patrizio says softly, mindfully, to Pasquale, as if in his own thoughts. "Better to refuse the gift, or perhaps regift it to another who might better appreciate it, and the workmanship that went into the thing." There's that smile for Jan at her mention of defiance, even as he's watching Titania wrap around her. His gaze moves to what Cufre's handed Medeia, before he muses softly, "I probably should have some cake. The better for buffering against whatever libation I dare next, yes?"
Cufre mms and is just peering down into her glass when Cosimo's questions catch her. She "Thank you, yes, sometimes"es to the first and, nodding, "Always, yes, my lord Marquis-Regent"s the second in the brief moments following their asking. To Medeia, she bows her head, smiling acceptance of her thanks.
Jan stiffens and inhales sharply but relaxes "Skald's balls, woman! Don't sneak up behind me!" She hugs Titania as best she can "You like How about you, Cousin? Should we think about investing in a pink dress for you someday?"" She smiles at Medeia "Most times I don't much care about what I wear so long as it's practical. I don't have a sense of style like you or Lord Pasquale do."
Titania grins at Jan's reaction, she leans into her cousin and looks to Pasquale. "I would wear it at least once, the person may have worked hard to have it made or even made it themselves. It would be the only respectful thing to do, then it would be tucked away and perhaps forgotten about." she looks over to Patrizio when she looks in her direction. There is a soft smiles and then her eyes blink, "A pink dress?"
"No," Medeia admits to Pasquale's question. "I would not. However, I would refrain from destroying it - right away. I have yet to find a gracious way of declining an unwanted gift." She frowns slightly, as if she might be trying to think of a way at that very moment but is coming up blank. "It could go into the wardrobe for a time and then be gifted on to another or sent for repurposing." There's a glance to Patrizio at that. "I believe it is a way to honor Jayus to make sure that anything once created be used to create again, if possible. I always make sure that anything that can be saved and used again, is."
Jan is overheard praising Medeia: Stunning birthday lady hosting from a remarkable venue
"I bow to others' greater knowledge of the gods and their preferences for gifts. I'm unfortunately not the artistic prince of Pravus." That comes with a warm laugh of Patrizio's as he does bow his head playfully to Medeia, easing to the side to take up some cake, as if for the moment eschewing alcohol and inviting the hint of scandal for so doing.
Though the prince blinks back at Titania, before he considers himself. "I think I'd look horrid in a pink dress. Perhaps, though, a shirt in such a hue, something more for a flower festival in warmer weather..." Which comes with a wink, before he's considering the others and their regard for such.
Once the glass of brandy is placed into his hand, Cosimo gives the servant a wan smile of thanks, addressing Cufre afterwards. "Perfect. I appreciate it, Harlequin Cufre. I will inquire via messenger to you, then." Noticing the Harlequin's seeming discomfort, he tactically withdraws and makes his way to the luxurious seating before the fire, stretching out and leaning on an armrest once seated. "Would I wear a hideous dress, Lord Pasquale? No. I'd regift it of course. Or throw it into the wardrobe of exiled clothing never to see daylight again," he responds with a sip of peach brandy and a weary chuckle.
Pasquale nudges Jan. "See. The collective wisdom says that if someone gives you something awful. You just pretend you lost it."
Jan smiles at Titania "You could pull off pink easy." She looks to Pasquale and laughs "Oh, so if I ever give you something that turns up missing I'll know you hated it." She purses her lips and considered "Of course I'd have to start giving you gifts first." She looks to Cosimo "You could pull off pink too, for that matter."
"Please do, my lord" Cufre manages in answer to Cosimo before he parts. She wanders off then, admiring the staggering collection of drinks on offer as she finishes hers. She declines a second glass, opting for a quiet departure instead.
Daoud, a Harrow Banshee leaves, following Cufre.
She knew she would be late to the birthday celebration, but she had every intention of going. It was a game of splitting promised time to her daughter and attendng the party. SHe had been spending far to much time buried in missives and had put off that quality time more so than she had realized. Her arrival into the ballroom is nothing that wiould draw much attention, any escort she had, had been dismissed before reaching the entrance and any snow that remained on her cloak had been shaken off prior to entry. The weather was not something that bothered her, she was used to the cold.
Her steps take her further into the ballroom, seeking Medeia. Spotting her, she makes her way towards her, pausing in front of her and awaiting a moment to address her. "Lady Medeia. Forgive my late arrival. Motherly duties extended longer than I suspected. Happy Birthday. The ballroom looks beautiful." Her eyes scan the room and then fall back on her once more. "I do hope your birthday has been eerything you had hoped it to be."
Titania looks to Patrizio with a bright smiles, "You would look very good with a shirt in such a hue, it would go well with your eyes." she smiles and looks to Jan, "I am more a hue of blues and greens kind of lady, well also purples depending." her eyes look over to where Cosimo sits, "I do believe we were speaking of your wardrobe just the other day." she smiles.
The chuckle that slips from Patrizio while he listens to the discussion between Cosimo, Jan, and Pasquale regarding the matter of being gifted an unseemly dress only belies that this might well be what he was hoping for. Though he does briefly bow his head to Titania. "I should be honoured if others felt that it would become me so," he offers in return with that playful grin of his. That his voice is again stilled while he's having a bite of cake goes without saying. Teagan's arrival, on the other hand, gets a warm smile and the dip of his head, before he says, "While I cannot say I know the struggles of parental duty in such a regard - one gets to give nephews and nieces back, after all - it's an important duty."
Medeia beams as the conversation moves around, and she might, maybe, be studying Patrizio for a fleeting moment - certainly not plotting anything, no. She's about to say something when Teagan arrives, and the lady's eyes widen in surprise. "Marquessa, it has been so very long, how good of you to come." Mention of motherly duties brings a nod of understanding. "Family first," she says, her voice earnest in the saying of the words. "In just a month, I will be having the twins' fifth birthday, if anyone can believe such a thing." The twins being her eldest children of four. "I know yoy have been away for some time, do you need introductions?" She looks around and then offers them anyway. "This is His Highness Patrizio Pravus, Party Prince of the Summer Seas - not the artistic one, not, that would be Prince Sébastien. And this is Marquis-regent Cosimo Tessere, who might benefit from your knowledge as a head of House as he is newly in his role. Ladies Titania and Jan Kennex, as different as can be from one another. I think you and Jan may be able to share some war stories. And Lord Pasquale Malespero, who is like a brother to me."
Marie, the Warlord's Assistant arrives, following Remus.
Jan ahhhs and smiles "I will keep that in mind next time I am pondering presents for you cousin." she promises her cousin. Her gaze looks up and she rises to bow as she's introduced since she camp in pants and not a dress "Well met."
Teaghan welcomes the introductions, giving her attention to each individual as Medeia mentions them. A nod and a smile also given as she stands beside the party host with her hands folded proeprly in front of her. Always on display and showing propriety, however people may speak of seeing her casual side, which certainly exists. "Some of them I already have acquaintences with. Howeve,r it has been quite a while since I have had the pleasure of conversing with them. Something I intend to remedy this evening."
She gives Medeia aanother smile. "I do hope you have been well. I feel like I have been away for far to long, but matters in Cloudspine needed my attention, Keeping me longer than I had expected."
With a respectful nod and a faint smile towards Teagan, "Greetings, Marquessa. Yes, I'm kind of new at this whole ruling a House thing, any wisdom you would care to impart would be welcome." He widens his eyes at both the Marquessa and Medeia, "Good gods. You actually interact with your children? I don't remember seeing my parents often. I suppose I'd better think about that once I get around to it." The languid tone of voice he takes makes it sound like not a huge priority. "Prince Patrizio, you can bet that any unwanted gift I get would simply vanish off the face of Arvum. A nice and simple solution. I suppose if the giver inquired about it I'd drag it out or something, then stuff it away once more."
Titania looks up and over to Teagan when she is introduces, she bows her head. "A pleasure to meet you Marquessa Teagan." she smiles looking to Jan to lean in to whisper something to her cousin.
"No, agreed that it's a wholly valid strategy, my lord." Having dispensed with the cake, Patrizio is /now/ finally living up more to the reputation of one of the Summer Seas with something more fortified in his hand as he salutes Cosimo at the words. A sip taken thereafter, he's smiling even as he does give a shiver, and a glance towards the glass overhead, as if to confirm it still is snowing. "I would think," says he to Teagan, "that any place called such would have to be Abyssally cold in this season. I do not envy you."
"Every day I wake up thinking its surely spring." Pasquale notes "And every day I'm greeted with snow. It is getting rather trying." he drinks a bit of his liquor. "But at least the moon has stopped looming ominiously at us all."
Remus calmly steps in, entering the ballroom. Taking the room in, he gives a slight smile, awkwardly apologetic, as his quiet voice breaks through his lips, soft and quiet, "I sincerely apologize for my rather late arrival." His eyes scan the room, noting Jan, Pasquale, Titania, giving a gentle and polite nod in greeting. Towards Patrizio he adheres to decorum, greeting him promptly and courteously, "Good eve, your Highness. It is pleasant to see you here." For Medeia, he breaks his stoic expression for a moment, offering her a warm smile before speaking, "Good eve, Lady Medeia. Happy birthday." He unsurely notes Teagan and Cosimo on the other hand. With uncertain steps, he bids himself further into the ballroom.
Jan smiles warmly to Pasquale "That is good news of no trivial significance." She claims a bite of the refreshments on offer, chewing thoroughly while she listens, granite gaze following the flow of conversation.
"My lord Remus. Welcome back from the far south... though /why/ your cousin detests you so, that she'd summon you back in the midst of this Abyssal season..." Patrizio laughs warmly in contrast to his words, as those brows of his bob to the newcomer, in a tone that makes full clear that he's not serious about besmirching the character of the absent marquessa. That grin lingers as he's taking a sip of his drink, and a serious look's given to Pasquale. "I'd given thought for how to solve the matter, but His Majesty did /not/ wish me use Arvum Fire for such a purpose as fending off the winter. Alas. But soon, the seasons shall turn, if the gods are kind." Jan's words get a look, though, regarding the moon.. and it passes, as if the prince is determined not to dwell upon it.
To Cosimo, Medeia smiles, a touch of sadness in her eyes. "I do not have the best relationship with my mother... I swore not to have the same happen with my children. I..." Her lips press thin, that recent divorce looming over her. "They may yet decide when they are omder that I am the worst mother to walk the Dream. But I will do my best not to be distant and cold." Then she sees Remus enter and gives him a bright smile, pushing whatever sadness was present away. "Lord Remus, and happy birthday to you! A few days late, if I recall. Welcome!" Her attention us on him and so she notices his look toward Cosimo and Teagan. "May I introduce Marquis-regent Tessere and Marquess Blackram?" This is Lord Remus Proscipi."
"If they ever call you the worst in arvum" Pasquale tells Medeia. "Feel free to tell them all about my father."
Medeia shakes her head softly. "I will let yoy tell them when I send them to you for some military-minded attitude adjustment," she replies to Pasquale.
Titania chuckles as she hears Patrizio speak of the winter and then the Arvm fire. Her eyes look to Remus and smiles, "Lord Remus, it is good to see you again." she sips from the glass that was given to her, her eyes roam to Cosimo and moves over in his direction. "Is it okay if I join you?"
Jan smiles warmly to Medeia "I know what it's like having a challenging mother, Lady Medeia. No doubt your children will know nothing of such tribulations."
A nod of her head and a smile are given to Remus as he addresses her. "Lady Cosimo. I would most pleased to offer any advice I may have on your new position. It can be a lot to digest at first...who I am kidding, it never gets easier. I probably should not have said that. I will make sure that I send an invitation to you shortly to come speak with me. I look forward to it." She pauses a moment and continues. "I try to make it a priority to spend time with Thora as much as I can. We have a very sgtrong relationship, perhaps more so since her father's passing."
SHe looks over to Titania and nods once more to the woman. "A pleasure Lady Titania. I do hope you are enjoying yourself this evening. I do not feel I know you as well as I should. Perhaps we can fix that?"
Eyes then go to Patrizio. "Abysmally cold is an understatment. Yet, one grows accustom to such weather. It makes the winter in in Arvum feel all that much easier to handle. It is the extremely hot days I cannot handle. Summer in Arx is miserable.."
Attnetion now dran to Remus as he is introduced. "Lord Remus. It is a pleasure to see you once more. I believe I may have spoken with you a long time back, but it has been quite a long time. I do hope you have been doing well."
Jan waves Teagan over and lifts a glass of something with her invitation.
Playfully, Patrizio winks to Titania when there's a look his direction after his mention of his favourite substance. Though that brings him back to Teagan. "I think both extremes make us stronger, but we need remember that what we detest weather-wise makes us better cherish what we treasure, and perhaps find more pleasurable means to avoid the side we cannot handle."
Though the prince of Pravus heaves a soft sigh when he looks to Medeia. "My lady," he says, with a tone that's gently chiding. "With what I know of your children - they could never think of such things of you. Have faith, and hold the course, and know that what you do for them is what you deem best. It's what I most treasure when I think of my own parents - that they did not perhaps give me all I would wish, but they did as they could, and I am their testament to such."
Despite the fact Pasquale has been doing nothing more taking than sitting near a fire and watching, he starts coughing. A while later, when its clear said coughing is not about to abate all that much, he moves to his feet, touches Jan's shoulder to reassure her, and then goes off to find one of those rooms Medeia mentioned earlier.
Jan looks like she is about to rise with Pasquale until he touches her shoulder and she frowns gently and nods then drains her drink. Teagan is invited over with offer of a drink "Our lovely hostess said you and I had much in common marquessa. She didn't say what. You care to wager a guess."
A faint flush of color rises in Medeia's cheeks at Patrizio's words. Her smile is pleased, but almost bashful, for the praise. "Thank you, Highness," She murmurs. To Pasquale, she notes softly, "Up the stairs, take the Scholar Suite." Then she's making sure Remus and others all have drinks and cake and anything else they could hope for.
Cosimo listens to Medeia and Teagan with all of his attention, not speaking until they've finished. "I see. I appreciate that, Marquessa Teagan. I greatly look forward to that invitation and discussion. I imagine it never does get easier, but I cannot bear to think of doing less than all I can and letting my sister's legacy go to waste." Musing over his drink, he admits with a sigh, "I was closer to my father than my mother, but when she was assassinated it was a heavy blow. I've regretted not being closer ever since." A bright smile flashes at Titania, "Of course Lady Titania, I'd be honored by your company. Please, join me." Tilting his head towards Remus, "Lord Remus, greetings to you. I haven't met you before, but I imagine you loathe this awful weather as well, coming from where you do. Enjoy a drink and commiserate."
Pasquale has left the central hearths with luxurious seating.
Alberico, the Malespero aide, 1 Malespero Guard, Louis, a Malespero Armsman, Mar, the Magpie leave, following Pasquale.
Remus eventually draws himself closer, his expression guarded as he speaks to Patrizio, "I admit, I find the weather disagreeable. But it warms my heart to see my sisters again." He greets Pasquale now, as he is closer, "Hail, Lord Pasquale, the eve treats you well?" To Jan, he greets her in kind "Good eve, General, it is pleasant to see you again as well." His eyes search and spot Titania and the corners of his lips rise at her greeting. "As it is with you, Lady Titania. How're you?" Listening to the conversations quietly, he marks Teagan's words towards himself, recognition fading into place within his eyes. "It certainly has been a while, but I have been doing quite well. How fares your eve?" His smile certainly widens a smidge at Medeia "I thank you, but no well wishes are needed. Tis your eve, after all." He gives a measured nod towards Cosimo, stating, "It is an honor to make your acquaintance".
