Deepwood
Vassal of Bisland
Words: "Serene as the deepest wood."
Sigil: Three dark trees on a green field.
Nickname: Rangers, Greenthumbs
Out of tragedy comes strength. Devastated by the Deepwood Massacre that left only Marquessa Ivy Deepwood alive, the ancient Grayson vassal house has since been rebuilt. Several Greyridges and distantly related Deepwood descendants have returned to the fold and helped bring order out of chaos. Despite the horrific, widespread slaughter of the former nobility it still controls significant holdings on the dangerous borderlands of the Gray Forest. House Deepwood is known for producing adventurers, scouts, rangers and horticulturists whom revere their connection to nature.

Old Oak
Description: Old Oak is an ancient holding that has grown exponentially in recent years. Initially devastated by the Gray Forest Reapers over a decade ago, the town of Deepwood Hold (another name for the holding) has since been rebuilt and is much more akin to a city than town.
During a particularly touchy incident with their vassals the castle was refitted and saw upgrades, becoming quite the fortress. With the Great Road traveling through it and the Abandoned outreach in the reformation it has now become a key trading hub known for its superlative treatment of commoners, due to the efforts of the Marquessa Ivy and her family.
Landmarks: The Great Road.
