A Labyrinthine Game of Tag

As winter fades into the spring thaw, a game is set within the Lenosian Labyrinth in Arx. Who can make it to the center of the maze? What trials will stand between those who attempt to win and the ultimate prize? Rumors circulate that artists and alchemists have been called in to assist in the preparations.

(OOC: While this will be a 'physical' challenge - think paint ball meets tag, rolls will rely on dexterity OR wits plus artwork, athletics, brawl, dodge, legerdemain, small wpn, or stealth.
There will be prizes to include a trophy, a custom painting from Denica, and a donation made in your name to the discipleship of Jayus.
Everyone is encouraged to come and play - but spectating is also welcome!)

Comments and Log

A clear, sun-filled early spring day remains a bit cool for those of southern blood, with a breeze gently rustling the leaves of the tall hedgerows that make up the Lenosian Labyrinth. The limestone pathways are still damp from the final layer of snow-melt, but that has not deterred the preparations for the lively game Princess Denica Thrax and Lady Medeia Saik have planned. Within the half-circle entrance to the maze, the women stand ready to greet those who have come to participate - or observe. Nearby, several specially hired attendants are waiting. One has an armful of protective smocks - some aeterna to repel stains, some canvas to collect them. A few other attendants are ready to hand out paint. There are buckets and buckets of paint. Some are filled with just the goopy paint and are paired with a somewhat oversized paint brush, others contain what appear to be small fabric sacs of paint that can be thrown.

As the participants and observers arrive, Medeia greets people and notes, "Observers, please stay close to me and the princess. Or at least to me." She gives Denica a wink. The Saik lady has worn aeterna, today, signaling that she is trying to /avoid/ becoming a painted masterpiece, herself. She scans the crowd with a smile as the start time approaches. "Welcome, one and all, to the Lenosian Labyrinth! I am Lady Medeia Saik. This is Princess Denica Thrax. We are thrilled to have you joining us on this fine day! First, I would like to express our gratitude to Archduchess Jaenelle Velenosa for giving us her blessing to hold this event here. In addition, we have many alchemical students to thank for their tireless commitment to learning - and experimentation - in making some of the paints that will be used in the game." There is a momentary pause to allow the crowd to applaud those mentioned before Medeia continues. "Second, I would like to introduce the game. We are borrowing a war game and transforming it."

Further explanation is given, "You all have two objectives in this game: one, get paint on other people. You may choose to do this by paintbrush or by paint 'ball.'" Medeia gestures to the paints being offered. "There are more stations with paint throughout the maze, so you do not need to feel judicious in your use." She grins, looking around at everyone in the hope they understood the subtext of 'go wild.' "The second objective is your choice: get the most paint on you or get the least paint on you. If you are participating, please collect a smock and your preferred form of paint. Be sure to let the attendants know what your chosen secondary objective is. At the end of the maze, there is a celebratory feast awaiting us! Do not get lost!" Then, the lady steps back and motions to Denica, letting the princess say some words before letting the crowd disperse for personal greetings, questions, and getting ready to go.

As Medeia speaks, Denica stands next to her, dressed in a tweed gown that is supposed to resemble art canvas. Carefully splattered with paint, the princess embraced the theme for the day. A bright smile on her lips, she welcomes people to the Labyrinth. The young woman looks excited and full of energy. Her bright eyes sparkle as she speaks. "Welcome to art, colour and beauty. And chaos. Lots of chaos," she adds with an impish grin.

"Today is about creativity and the freedom that comes with having a paintbrush full of paint! We are here to have fun. Lady Medeia has kindly outlined the rules of the game, so I want to encourage you to...follow them...," these are not words Denica is comfortable saying, so there's a little devilish wink at the end. "While there's an objective, art is what happens when we let go. When we let our inner self express. While, we aren't here to make art specifically, we are here to be art. To turn each other into works of art. To art and chaos."

Mattheu stands with his arms folded before him, already wearing a colorful display in scarves with soft song of bells in his every movement and motion. Smiling at the directions, he grabs a few of the paint sacks and proceeds to start tying them to his sash belt. A couple in his hands as he takes to juggling them gently, possibly to get a feel for how much give they have in their heft.

It really does not take long for Theo to come here as this is his home and he's visited this particular spot time and time again. He listens carefully to Medeia's instructions and picks out a paint canvas. It looks like he's going for as little paint as possible. He is still considering which method he will use. Finally, making his way to the hostesses. "This looks like a lot of fun." Said in greeting to Medeia before he's looking at Denica as he moves his hand up and down in what she's wearing, "I bet that dress will look really pretty before this event is done." Hostesses are fair game right? Who knows? He grins when Denica talks about art and chaos.

Thea ventures over, still chilled. It's not a blazing sun yet, so she shivers. "Den,"she mentions to Denica as she goes to grab supplies. "That killed you to say, I know it,"a grin forming. Then there's a flutter of her fingers to Medeia as well, followed by a nod to Mattheu and Theo

A hand lifts up and paint-stained fingers wiggle at Thea as she arrives. There's that look in the princess's eyes, like she can spot trouble easily, because she embodies it herself. The woman's comment makes Denica chuckle and she nods. "Yes, a part of me died inside, one that can only be revived by ample trouble-making," she says innocently. Then she glances over at Theo and his comment brings an impish smile to her lips, "if you touch the fire-- you get burnt," she says with an eyebrow wiggle. The man has gotten her attention and that cannot be good.

Kanean moves over to stand next to Mattheu, his grey eyes looking over the group that is gathered. There is a smile nudge to the Lord with a smirk and he nods to those there. He gives everyone a small finger wave.

Medeia smiles when she sees Theo. "Your Highness, I must say, it pleases me how you are game for anything. What an adventurous spirit you have." She watches Mattheu for a moment before calling out, "My lord, you can take a whole bucket with you!" Then she's waving back to Kanean and laughing softly to what Thea says. "Oh, this will surely be fun. Everyone ready?"

"Yes, milady!" Theo calls out. What is he answering to? His adventurous spirit or that he is ready? He does his own finger wave when he spies a Thea. Chuckling at Denica's words and he blows her a kiss. Is this what Prince's do? This is what this Prince does. He's Velenosa. Anything goes. A nod to the other two men that are here to.

Mattheu lets out a laugh as he catches the sacks being juggled. "A whole bucket?" His grin widening. "What are the rules? Can I say hit this fool right now?" He eyes Kanean with a grin while hold a sack

Once everyone who is participating has been appropriately equipped with a smock and the paint delivery method of their choice, and all the observers have been gathered close to Medeia, the lady holds up her arms to call for attention. "The whole of the maze is available to you to run around. This will operate as something of a free-for-all - if you wish to make alliances, we will not stop you, but you are all in this individually. Or maybe you are all in this together?" She glances over to Denica with an amused smile. "Your signal to start will be when I next say the name of a god. I do hope Petrichor does not mind paint upon his leaves." There is a moment of confused chaos as some people start running when she says 'Petrichor' and some others miss the cue.

Thea checks dexterity and small wpn at easy. Thea is successful.

Mattheu checks dexterity and brawl at easy. Mattheu is successful.

Kanean checks dexterity and athletics at easy. Kanean is successful.

Theo checks dexterity and stealth at easy. Theo is successful.

Catching Theo's gesture, the princess states loud enough for anyone to hear. "Nowhere in the rules does it say, Princess Denica Thrax Must Not In-act Paint Revenge on the person of her choosing." Then she shrugs innocently and the woman picks up a paintbrush. Though she makes no efforts to do anything with it, yet. Rather she observes the colourful chaos with an amused smile on her face. Turning her attention to Medeia, she stands ready to suppose the woman in anyway she needs.

Mattheu wastes no time in turning to Kanean, alliances? HA. In a laugh he's pushing the paint sack into his friend's tunic and patting at it to ensure the paint sprays in a very well coverage upon the Ironfoot

Which was does she go? Thea doesn't REALLY know herself, but she's quick to reach in and grab a ball. And YEETS it at Mattheu. Theo and Kaenan would have been too obvious at the moment

Did Denica just call Theo out? Oh it seemed she did. He will have to definitely be careful around the princess. He's amused as he eyes his competitors. Oh it seems that Mattheu and Kaenan have been assulated with paint. He tries to tip toe in Thea's direction to where her back is with his own paint sack and squishes the sack in between her shoulder blades and says confidently, "Hello, lovely." Then he takes off running trying to see what cover he could find. He heard retaliation so he's trying to find his spot just in case.

Kanean blinks as Mattheu turns on him! what is this! Betrayal! "Is this how its going to be!" he had his plan and he had picked his victim..Sorry, not sorry Theo! he chucks the pain at the prince. "Its on River Lord!" he points to his eyes then to Mattheu now.

3 House Velenosa Guards, Renault, Timothe leave, following Theo.

Cuddles, a jumpy and cuddly puppy, 1 Rivenshari Clansman leave, following Kanean.

Violeta Emili, tall and shadowed rivenshari, 2 Rivenshari Clan Guardsman, Tregva Emili, a colorful ravashari performer leave, following Mattheu.

Stojan, a cleverly reserved assistant, 3 Thrax Guards, 1 Ulbran Thug, Sivas, an artsy ostentatious curator, Lady Snow, 1 Thrax Elite Guards, Cato, a stealthy non-descript man leave, following Denica.

2 Saik Guard, Celina, a dutiful physician's assistant, Giancarlo, a cooper and prize-fighter, Theo, Kanean, Thea, Mattheu, Denica leave, following Medeia.

Quietly, Medeia ushers the observers along the westerly path, into the Shadowed Garden. Amid the chaos of the game, there is a good chance that many of the participants have run along the easterly path and ventured into the lush greenery of the Hidden Oasis, where vibrant fish swim in ponds. They may even venture further along that twisting dead-end path before making their way back to the path that leads to the Fox’s Den and the awaiting feast. Within the Shadowed Garden, there are more attendants waiting with buckets of paint, suggesting it is the correct way to go. Additional attendants are on hand, here, to gently redirect participants to stay on the narrow paths to avoid trampling the delicate plants in the neatly planted rows within the space. Medeia can be heard talking to a couple of observers about the unique properties of night-blooming plants as she leads them through toward the north.

Mattheu checks dexterity and athletics at easy. Mattheu marginally fails.

As the next round begins, the princess watches with wide-eyes, enjoying the sight of colours everywhere. There's cheering and clapping, and the occasional loud whistle. The young woman plays the roll of encouraging the colourful carnage. Watching as everyone takes part, Denica says, "you are all doing a great job, what a beautiful and delightful thing to watch unfold," she says with a wiggle of her eyebrows. Then she dips her paintbrush into the paint and adds a few more marks to her own gown.

Thea checks dexterity and small wpn at easy. Thea is successful.

Theo checks dexterity and stealth at easy. Theo marginally fails.

Thea gasps as she's pelted. From her supposed friend. She turns quickly, taking aim at Theo. "So much for mercy,"the Countess declares.

Mattheu smiles to Kanean as he's hit in the back by Thea, paint spraying all around him. As he turns to Thea, "I wouldn't have expected anything less from you. We'll just have to ensure you have more bells for your children. Keep you on your toes!" Looking to Kanean in that widened grin, "You've been blessed by the winds brother! Look at the lovely color!" Then takes off running into the maze, where he'll poke out and try to throw another sack this time at Thea. As the sack goes sailing well over her head and into the maze further he stares at Kanean with grin.

Kanean checks dexterity and athletics at easy. Kanean is spectacularly successful.

Theo was trying to run that is why he probably missed Kanean and his pelting. But its Thea that catches him by surprise when she declares there is no mercy. He tries to get her again only to fail and that bag of paint just drips out of his hand. Shrugging as Theo attempts to continue moving!

Medeia shifts carefully, leaning out of the way of a sac of paint that comes too close from an exuberant participant. Even so, she smiles calmly to the other observers and gives them a quiet instruction about what direction to head in as she watches the chaos - especially the interplay between Theo and Thea.

Thea is pretty quick to dodge the balls. She has or had 2 older brothers and now has 2 toddlers. "I'll really come after you for that,"an actual laugh coming from her lips.

Kanean laughs, "OH I am going to bless you brother and the wind is going to rejoice for such a thing!" he moves to grab more paint and with a might toss he smacks the paint on Theo with such a force that it splatter out from the poor prince and globs and droplets hit all those around him! including a nice big glop of paint that gets Mattheu right on the right side of him, "That color looks great on you!" he calls out to the River Lord and snickers.

3 House Velenosa Guards, Renault, Timothe leave, following Theo.

Cuddles, a jumpy and cuddly puppy, 1 Rivenshari Clansman leave, following Kanean.

Violeta Emili, tall and shadowed rivenshari, 2 Rivenshari Clan Guardsman, Tregva Emili, a colorful ravashari performer leave, following Mattheu.

Stojan, a cleverly reserved assistant, 3 Thrax Guards, 1 Ulbran Thug, Sivas, an artsy ostentatious curator, Lady Snow, 1 Thrax Elite Guards, Cato, a stealthy non-descript man leave, following Denica.

2 Saik Guard, Celina, a dutiful physician's assistant, Giancarlo, a cooper and prize-fighter, Theo, Kanean, Thea, Mattheu, Denica leave, following Medeia.

The mass of the game continues as participants fling brightly colored paint in every direction, leaving the hedgerows and paths and people splattered in a veritable rainbow. Medeia leades observers along the path ahead of, through the Ivy Tunnel, and into the Metal Grove. The grove boasts exquisite metal sculptures of trees made out of copper, rubicund, silver, and more. There are, again, more attendants and more paint waiting in this section of the labyrinth. By this point in the game, many of the participants who are playing may find that they are starting to feel their exertions from running around, but Medeia cheers them on loudly, reminding them that they are now at least halfway to the feast.

Theo checks dexterity and athletics at normal. Theo fails.

Mattheu checks dexterity and brawl at normal. Mattheu is successful.

There is paint everywhere, this is exciting and the young woman cheers as colours go everywhere. "You all look delightful!," she encourages the antics. "Like beautiful rainbows," she adds with a small grin.

Thea checks dexterity and small wpn at normal. Thea is successful.

Kanean checks dexterity and dodge at normal. Kanean is successful.

Theo has been running. He feels the exertions from doing that and trying to pelt people even if he's been unsuccessful. Maybe this just isn't his game as he stares at Kanean and tries to go after him next. As he runs he lobs his paint sack. Only for the sack to drop right in front of him and this prince gets splattered by his own endeavors.

There was expectations of paint. Everywhere. Thea knew that. So when more gets on her, she snorts. "The poor guy that got the whole thing...,"but she doesn't feel sorry at all. Tossing her ball up for her next victim, Thea considers. Spying Kanean, she aims at him.

Bells singing out as Mattheu dives for cover behind a bench only to have a spray hit his side. Looking over as he hears Kanean call him out in laughter, "Be happy we're not upon the river brother! I'd take a dive to pull you in with me as when we were younger!" Taking a whole bucket of paint in his arms there's a grin as he sets to step up to Thea. Swinging the bucket in his arms as he offers a flourished bow to Thea. "My lovely Countess Wyvernheart. I believe you would look lovely within." he pauses to look at the bucket, "Pink."

Medeia leans toward Denica. "This is /so/ messy. I hope it rains, soon. I almost feel bad for the people we hired to clean up. Maybe the archduchess will not mind if we just... leave it this way for a while?"

"I think it looks delightful! Who could not like such original artwork everywhere," she says with a small chuckle. "Honestly, this looks like the inside of my barge," she says as she glances around. Because this is her world. "I'm sure the rain will wash it in time, but perhaps we should ask our House Velenosa representative," she eyes Theo now, not at all putting him on the spot. Then she chuckles, "really- it's quite the sight. Everyone has done such a great job," she adds.

Look at this point Theo is hiding but he hears both Medeia and Denica and he laughs. "We like chaos. Leave it." Did he flash a grin to the two speaking? Yes he did. But he goes back to his hidey hole because luck is not with him.

Thea gasps at Matti! "Pink is the WORST color,"her nose scrunching. That is until she sees Denica. Then she's grinning.

Kanean ooc sorry posing now

"Thank you, Your Highness!" Medeia calls out to Theo, though she looks in the opposite direction to prevent his hidey-hole from being too obviously noted. She's TRYING to be helpful.

Medeia gasps at Thea! "Pink is beautiful, you hush."

Theo pops up again to see how this pink looks on Thea and gives a low whistle. "Looking good, friend." Cheeky grin given.

Kanean laughs as he is threatened to be brought under the water if they were on a rive, "You should not threaten me with a good time brother!" he calls back in a laugh his grey eyes twinkle with mischief now.

3 House Velenosa Guards, Renault, Timothe leave, following Theo.

Cuddles, a jumpy and cuddly puppy, 1 Rivenshari Clansman leave, following Kanean.

Violeta Emili, tall and shadowed rivenshari, 2 Rivenshari Clan Guardsman, Tregva Emili, a colorful ravashari performer leave, following Mattheu.

Stojan, a cleverly reserved assistant, 3 Thrax Guards, 1 Ulbran Thug, Sivas, an artsy ostentatious curator, Lady Snow, 1 Thrax Elite Guards, Cato, a stealthy non-descript man leave, following Denica.

2 Saik Guard, Celina, a dutiful physician's assistant, Giancarlo, a cooper and prize-fighter, Theo, Kanean, Thea, Mattheu, Denica leave, following Medeia.

Medeia continues to lead the observers north to the Twisted Path. The paths now are confounding, some running over themselves and others looping back to where they started. Different types of stone cause different challenges to the participants as they run, with some slippery and smooth and others providing good grip underfoot and yet others shifting and sliding with every step. There are fewer attendants here, but they are here, and there is more paint available if anyone needs it.

Theo checks dexterity and dodge at normal. Theo is successful.

Thea checks dexterity and small wpn at normal. Botch! Thea fails completely.

Mattheu checks dexterity and athletics at normal. Mattheu marginally fails.

Kanean checks dexterity and athletics at normal. Kanean is successful.

So far Theo has failed in getting Thea and Kanean. One last attempt and he aims for Mattheu as he runs towards the Rivenshari. He hits him solid and the prince can be heard saying, "Booooyaaaah, sucker!" Making victory hands as if he won or something.

Finn has started to grow excited with all the flying balls, so much so that he wanted to join! Darting in front of Thea, she tried to keep from stepping on her dog which...causes the woman to stumble. The paint balls falling on top of her. Finn stands over her, barking. Letting her know she fell. And needs more paint, which Rocco already thrusts at her. Laughing.

Mattheu grins wide when Thea now wears a full bucket of pink. The empty bucket sent sailing over his shoulder as he gives her a hug then takes off running in search of another bucket where he's hit by Theo to the side of his head in a brilliant spray of purple now filling his hair. Turning away with that spray his own shot misses the prince as Mattheu is left to stare at the man with his 'sucker' comment. "Oh. I'm coming for you!"

Kanean watches Theo nail Mattheu and his nose wrinkles, oh its on now! Kanean goes for a bucket of yellow pain, moving to pass the others and then flings it onto the Prince as he is busy making his victory dance, "A gift from me to you." and he blows the prince a kiss and runs!

3 House Velenosa Guards, Renault, Timothe leave, following Theo.

Cuddles, a jumpy and cuddly puppy, 1 Rivenshari Clansman leave, following Kanean.

Violeta Emili, tall and shadowed rivenshari, 2 Rivenshari Clan Guardsman, Tregva Emili, a colorful ravashari performer leave, following Mattheu.

Stojan, a cleverly reserved assistant, 3 Thrax Guards, 1 Ulbran Thug, Sivas, an artsy ostentatious curator, Lady Snow, 1 Thrax Elite Guards, Cato, a stealthy non-descript man leave, following Denica.

2 Saik Guard, Celina, a dutiful physician's assistant, Giancarlo, a cooper and prize-fighter, Theo, Kanean, Thea, Mattheu, Denica leave, following Medeia.

The game continues, wearing on just a bit longer, and certainly leaving the participants eager for the end and the feast as the physical toll makes staying in the game more challenging. Medeia leads the group of observers to the east, through the Enclosed Clearing with its gorgeous early spring wildflowers, and then south into the Fox's Den. There is an area around the entrance to this space that is cleared for the game to finish, and a finish line beyond where tables and chairs have been arranged along the paths for people to sit and eat. Medeia urges the observers beyond the finish line before calling out, "Last chance to get paint on someone!"

Mattheu checks dexterity and athletics at hard. Mattheu marginally fails.

Thea checks dexterity and small wpn at hard. Thea marginally fails.

Theo checks dexterity and stealth at hard. Theo fails.

The princess watches as Thea's dog Finn goes for her in all the excitement. Denica cannot help but just stand there during the collision. It's truly a beautiful sight and she applauds the trio for their efforts. Then she goes silent and stands there a bit too politely.

Kanean checks dexterity and athletics at hard. Botch! Kanean fails completely.

As Medeia settles into to watch the end of the game, she looks down and frowns. Thea's fiasco with Finn has resulted in a few globs of paint upon the skirt of her aeterna gown. "Oh. At least that will come out..." She seems distracted.

There were attempts made by Theo to get people but obviously he's just not at all good at this. Shrugging as he tries to get anyone who is aiming for him. The three? Yes they all get paint lobbied at them. Only for him to fail at it terribly and he gets paint on him that had not been covered by his white smock. He knew there was a reason why he chose white over colorful. Oh well. He is heard laughing as he stares at himself now.

Each lob that Mattheu sends is going far and wide. Painting a bush, table, edge of tree. While he's missing the others, it is now hard to find somewhere to stand or sit that isn't covered in paint.

Not at all bothered by paint on her gown, because that's the whole purpose of her dress, Denica embraces the additional colours and looks delighted by the whole thing.

*** Denica has called for an opposing check with Theo. ***

Kanean was doing good he was doing really good! Till he wasn't and slips on a spot of pain he tries to keep his balance he looks like someone on ice who has lost their balance and then his feet come out and he goes up and then so does the bucket *splat* and he sits there with paint dripping over his head and down his face.

Thea is grateful for Rocco right now. Then she's hurrying in, grabbing paint. Seeing the look from Denica, she takes aim at Theo. Though it doesn't go quite as far or as hard as she intended.

When the game is over and everyone is waiting for Medeia make her announcement during the wrap up, it is then that princess Denica plots her revenge. There's a quick glance over at Thea, because obviously. Armed with a paintbrush, Denica's been dipping it into colourful paint as she watches people take part. Why is she doing this? Who knows, the young woman is the slippery type, no doubt trained in various forms of combat. The most notable, being art. A rainbow of colours comes flying towards Theo, as the woman launches her attack from behind. It's really unfair, she knows it, but he started it, and is anyone really shocked? Do people remember the Saik Wine Games? Hopefully not. The princess is not one to back down, despite the chances it might actually backfire. She could miss. She could get paint on herself. This doesn't occur to her, all is fair in art and war. Denica lunges with the paintbrush at Theo and it's up to him to get out of the way, or whatever comes next.

And here Theo thought he was in the clear of anymore incoming attacks! First Thea tries to get him and he squints at her. He's going to remember this for future games! But the paint that Thea had tried to get him just lands at his feet and he's heard telling her, "Ha. You missed!" Should have been watching Denica. Should have known she was up to something when the games had first started. Oh what pretty colors, rainbow even. When he finally realizes it is aimed for him he dodges out of the way. That paint rainbow ends up flinging back to the princess where she can wear her own masterpiece. He's heard snorting even though his skin not clothed wears a myraid of colors. Who got revenge on who? Grinning as he bows to Thea and Denica. He's got a long memory. Uh oh.

With the game officially wrapped, attendants wait to help the participants out of their smocks, judging just how much or how little paint they got on them. The smocks are hung upon specially designed stands and displayed for all to see. The observers have dispersed to tables and are being served plates heaped high with roasted meat and generously sized buttery baked potatoes with herb sauce. Upon the tables are additional platters of cured meats and cheeses, breads with jams, and pickled vegetables.

Medeia confers with Denica and the attendants about the state of the smocks, looking over at the participants from time to time as they determine the final results. After a long moment, the Saik lady steps forward to make an announcement. "Thank you, all of you, for joining us today! This has been such a colorful way to spend a spring afternoon. We have two winners to award prizes to. The participant who best succeeded in /not/ getting paint on themself was Messere Kanean Ironfoot! And the participant who best succeeded in getting the /most/ paint on them was Lord Mattheu Rivenshari!" She pauses for applause from the observers and other contestants. "Both will receive a trophy, a donation in their name to the Disciples of Jayus, and the chance to work with Princess Denica on a custom painting."

Medeia then scurries away to let attendants hand out the trophies so that she can get the paint off her gown - of which there is a lot dripping down her skirt after kanean's impressive fall.

The princess should have seen it coming. Yet, she didn't and so when the paint splatters back and she misses Theo, there's a moment of shock on her face. Then she bursts into laughter, delighted by the whole thing. "Did I? Maybe this was my plan all along!," she says with a chuckle. It was not, but best to save face. Then Medeia makes the announcements and she clears her throat. "Thank you Lady Medeia for organizing all of this, it's been great fun being part of it. What came as a chat in the tavern, has turned into something quite fun." Then she pauses, "for the winners, I will connect with you, or you can reach out in a few days and we can come up with something for your art. Art is unpredictable, after all," she grins then. And then she says, "thank you everyone for participating. It's nice to have a laugh and get creative. I appreciate your chaos," she bows to the group.

Denica is overheard praising Medeia: A lovely co-host, a delight to work with, so much colour.

Mattheu is sure to find Kanean when they are awarded with the golden paintbrushes and offers him a large hug to ensure that he has /some/ paint on him. "There. You look better with color."

Thea was clearly a distraction for Denica. Obviously. Then she's winking at Theo. Straightening the best one can covered in paint, Thea biasly mentions,"Denica's originals are beautiful." Then she's giving a wave to everyone.

Kanean laughs as Mattheu find him and he returns the hug to the Lord, "That purple does look good on you." he smirks and looks to the award in his hand.
