Sabella Grayson is one of the very brightest gems in the Grayson crown. I first asked her to consider the ministry of loyalty back when Prince Calarian was first contemplated as a match for the March of Wyrmguard, and I am sure that he will serve admirably in his new post, with our love and our blessings. I expect that Sabella's approach will be different, but one that House Grayson and our people of the Crownlands will embrace entirely.
It is easy for the unabashedly lovely to be overlooked as decorative, for the consummate performer to be dismissed as dramatic, for the student of joy to be dismissed as without depth. I want to emphasize entirely that a talent for happiness that retains the sensibility of a diplomat and the grounded roots of a woman of strength is the highest praise I can think on.

One will find heroes in unlikely persons throughout their lives. One such hero was Brother Martin.
I did not know the man save for that one occasion, but he was pure of heart and brave of mind; a powerful soul. A thousand people could not have done what he did, in the way that he did; culminating in what would be considered a miracle. And so we stood fast, at his behest.
I am no hero.
I am a knight, and I was asked by a hero to protect a girl, so I did. Myself alongside my siblings in arms.
We bled together and we fought together. It does not matter if someone's skewed perception of things casts us in an unfavorable light. Doing the right thing does not mean doing the popular thing. It means doing what needs to be done, no matter what others have to say about it. You grit your teeth and face the beast head-on.
And I will fight on behalf of the honor of anyone who was with me that night. I know, for a fact, it would be likewise.
To Luca, Sparte, Astraea, Ectorion, Violet, Reese: I will always fight alongside you, you need only say the word.

Relationship Note on Martin
It is no secret that I hate rumors. And people assuming things from vague stories. While some things I cannot talk about, I can say that what happened in the Tragedy was one of the most horrifying experiences of my life. And it was not from the good people who I stood beside. I did not know Brother Martin. But his dedication to orphans was obvious in the short time I did. He gave his life protecting his charge, an innocent, and may we all go out doing such a heroic thing. And he will not have to worry about that charge's life, for she'll have a home and a family. I'll make sure of that.
