Alas, no one has ever accused the Prince of being a classy man.

After all of the discomfort of carrying her about and then the indignity of pushing something out of my own body for such ingratitude.
This one is trouble. I know it.

Relationship Note on Alrec
At the age of 10 he learned his alphabet, mostly.
At the age of 15 he raised a prize chicken for the Darkwater fair.
At the age of 19 he distinguished himself fighting for House Thrax in the Tyde rebellion.
At age 20 found his look and stuck with that unfortunate beard for the rest of his life.
In his mid twenties or something he abandoned his oaths to House Darkwater, betrayed and mass murdered his own men because he decided he'd rather work for Setarco since it's got nice weather or whatever and became a hireling for House Pravus.
At the age of 32 he won a stew-eating contest at the Murder of Crows.
Wow. What a storied life! Admiral Alrec Magaldi, the something-something of Setarco, folks!

They were beautiful, and the sentiment you left with them complimented them in a most wonderful fashion.
I am glad you are in my life.

This realisation and epiphany was not there, before. Not consciously, at the very least, though I would say I have not changed how I live that much, merely how I view it. I believe it was always there, a part of my soul that longed for all of that, that needed it. So when I suggested a Festival of Death over a year ago, there was the joy and adventure of it in the forefront of my mind, as much as I actually gave it much thought at all (and really, I didn't - it was a whim).
But it grew into something much more. Every event was a prayer, a hymn, a ritual - to her. Every time her name was mentioned and her story detailed, someone told it onwards. In Arx, the centre of the world we live in, most know Death because she is part of the city and her return was close to everyone, but even if a Godess returns it does not mean everyone understands her right away. I hope that our festival has given more understanding.
I hope that we will do it again. Perhaps every year, from now on.
My heart brims over in thankfulness that I got to spend time with so many talented, wonderful people that saw this happening. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you. And what a reward we all got, a special memory forever ours, a divine moment.

But, I'm back. It's nice to find that I am welcomed so easily by an old friend.
Oh, and I am looking to be married; will have to speak with Olivia and the Duke about it soon, as I don't know how many more childbearing years I have left.
Yes, I'm nervous. Somehow, more now than I was before.
