I punched a guard in the face this week. No particular reason, but I was on edge and we were training. It was the wrong thing to do. It seems strange for a lawyer to write about punching someone in the face, but if I didn't have a hobby that let me punch things I might go crazy with the amount of ownership and reputation cases I've been a part of. In Lenosia, it's a particular fad to not have a trial at all and try to get rid of the lawyer, so the punching is something you can brag about to potential clients. I think I wandered, oh well, off to the Mourning Isles.

I'm so close to putting all these clues together and coming up with some information that will help us against Eurusian magic. I'm sure the Templars are only concerned with racking up bodies - I'm more than sure, I'm certain - but our purpose should be towards peace first and blood second. It's hard, when it comes down to it, to diffierentiate between a taskmaster and a slave. It's easier for a person to consider them one in the same. I refuse to do so. I joined the crusade to bring a sliver of hope along with me. A sliver I intend to share with all people. My only hope is that when we leave the Mourning Isles, we do so without creating a new battlefield.

The state of equestrian education among the young is worrying. Perhaps I should begin an initiative to elevate the training of the unfortunately unhorsed. It would be perilous for us to enter into a period of extended warfare with such little understanding of the basic mechanics of mounted cavalry. I may need to undertake study in pedagogy so to begin correcting this problem.

Oili has met several people who claim to be healers. Rukhnis might be the only person who actually rises to the standard. It's a topic that Oili is opinionated about and Rukhnis has managed to break through every standard she holds. Oili might think that she's hiding some baggage but Rukhnis can keep that to herself. All Oili cares about is how great of a healer she's found.

Mikani Crovane has a bit of a short temper but Oili has come to appreciate that side of her. It's through this short temper that Mikani tends to exhibit bursts of extraordinary bravery that would put any soldier to shame. Oili has great respect for Mikani. Both for her bravery and work as a shaman.

The rollout for ironwool seemed like it would be rocky, but from what I understand merchants are buying it as fast as our people can make it. It's not surprising there are jokes. All bold endeavors result in those who doubt, who fail to understand, who jeer. And when all is said and done we have created something new. Armor that looks fantastic. If some wish to use it to scrub their pots, then that's up to them, I suppose. I can't really talk. I'm using alaricite to make a lute.

I want to make clear that you should not be using your grand finished ironwool to scrub your pots! It serves it's intended duty well as a protective material for those who do not wish to done steel or leather armor.
The cast-offs from the process of creating the ironwool, those bits do a dandy job scrubbing though, and are much cheaper to acquire while offering none of the protective capacity.
Buy them up and you may see the price of the finished product fall!
