Now, to Princesses Tikva and Sabella - it is okay. Fashion changes quickly on us and we do not always understand why. But I am fairly certain that Lumen Whisper will once again be IN again.

I am still encountering bits of amusing chatter regarding the posterior perspective portrait left in the Highlord of Sanctum's hallway. The most amusing for me, by far, is the suggestion of sending drawings and/or paintings to ones Patron as a sign or respect. That one had me giggling, I admit. I wonder if anyone will actually go forward with it.
It has been a strange week. Both seeming to drag by and vanish in a blink. Things happening left and right yet I feel like in a calm before a storm. And then of course there is the random bouts of nausea. I share the Princess Sabella's discomfort in that regard. Though most times I can keep my food down, the constant sickness is no fun. Thankfully I have discovered candied ginger and peppermint sweets. That and Sergeant Soren's morning and night tea seems to be helping. Or maybe it is clearing up. Either way, it has been a strange week. And things will probably just keep getting stranger.
Tomorrow is the Polar Plunge for Mangata. There will be hot coffee, warmed towels, good company, and prizes for those who can stay in the longest. Sharing ones warmth to bring warm tides and fair winds. I'm looking forward to it. Even if it is just a few people, it will be a good time.

His Grace is a novel man that clearly cares about his people. He is generous in his investments within us in both terms of the faith he places within us and where he puts his coin. He has graciously shared his table with me, lent me his ears, and aided me in protecting myself and others through the hospitable assistance in procuring a diamondplate weapon. I am honestly confused as to why Shard had to explain why I am what I am. I enjoy -everything-. Life is short, it's messy, and our stories are often cut entirely too short. Why wouldn't I enjoy every moment of it?
