I'm getting pretty excited about this picnic we'll be doing. Yeah, it's going to be expensive, but people need a real party to enjoy... not that stuffy shit the nobility put on to show off their expensive clothing and their expensive jewelry and their expensive food. I'm really looking forward to everyone relaxing and having a good time.

Relationship Note on Reigna
I feel the time was right to join the Physician's Guild, perhaps something I should have done long ago but right now it feels so very right and good to be on a path that will nurture my growth in helping others.
The Countess Reigna Keaton was an absolute pleasure to meet I confidently express that perhaps we could have found joy and laughter in each others company for many more hours to follow. I will be shadowing other physicians and attending training classes for both human and animal medical treatments. It will be a long journey but one I am wholly proud to be exploring.

Gentle Readers,
I was asked to do what seemed a fairly simple task at the time... to help clean up and improve the gardens next to our home. It was a wild and relatively overgrown area. I thought to myself that we would simply hire an army of workers and perhaps a few designers to help. After all I know nothing of planning a garden!
Much to my surprise though, I found the design of it enjoyable and ended up doing it all myself. The workers were sometimes a bit lacking in the ability to understand simple orders; but after much work, it has finally come together.
I must give my thanks to our family for being so patient with me... never before in my life have I been seen in such a frightful state with twigs in my hair and all! But in the end it was worth it and it is ready just in time for the party in Cullen's honor. I hope they will all love it.
Well that is all for now. It is time to rest.

I do suppose that it is just about time to give my written update to what is surely my rapidly growing Arvian half of my fan club.
With each passing day, I come more alive in this city. Whether it has been fighting duels in the Whisper House for the favor of a woman's kiss, engaging in not one, but two hard-fought bouts with Princess Agatha Redrain - once with swords, and once with thumbs - tearing down the egos of the presumptuous, putting on a song and dance show with trained animals in Guardian Square, or simply being the most charming Whisper I can be, every day has been full of life, laughter, and mischief.
And these are only the things which I will admit to.
There are rumors that a trove of letters written to me by my fans outside the city might be made public soon. All I can say is that I will neither confirm nor deny a single thing in their contents. If this does come to light, laugh at those which are funny, speculate over the ones which are mysterious, and feel free to write some of your own to me. I love receiving letters, as the beleaguered messengers of the city will assure you.
Live your lives. Holding back will only leave you disappointed with yourself.

I'm able to stand now, and walk around some, but the healers (and Magpie) do not want me going very far from bed. Also, no running allowed, whatsoever!
But I can stand. Which means I can stand in front of my canvas. Which means I set right into created my next GREAT WORK. And completed. And delivered it to Whisper House, where I am hoping it finds it's way to it's rightful owner. And yes, I know, I already painted her once, but it wouldn't be a proper obsession if I didn't obsess some.

I never thought I would ever see her come out to Arx, and yet here she is! I've been so excited to spend time with her again, and I do so hope that she's enjoying her time once more with the "Little Devil of Thrax". To be truthful, I think we get on better now than we ever did, growing up. She's already introducing me to so many new and exciting people! I don't know how she does it.

To some, familial obligations are just that: an obligation. Something to be expected rather than cherished. But when you grow up in a large family like the Algairs, you realize that the attention of your individual family members can only be spread so thinly. It's not their fault, really. It's just that attention is a finite resource. I try to show my parents that I appreciate them by sending silver and good news, but their responses leave me with the feeling that they wish their children had stayed around to be shepherds like them. My siblings are off on their own adventures, but perhaps one day they will find me at my shop. It's got my name on it, after all.
