I have not written much of late, but there's not much to write about. I was inducted into the Order of the Lily. I'm sure there's more deserving folk than me, but it's a great honor to be among the others. I figure that's about all that's worth a mention. Besides that, one day comes after another and that is about it.

I went to the Embassy opening tonight. I had no intention in spending most of the evening in Prince Tryval's company, but that is what happened. It was an enlightening evening and I met some very interesting people, not the least of which was the prince of course. So much to think on and others to worry about. I hope to make my way back to the Embassy to explore a bit more. I admit I tired myself out spending the evening being social.

The Marquis has suggested that I arm myself, so today I dared to step foot outside the keep for the first time since arriving. I can scarce believe how big, and busy the city is. We, and I say we since the Marquis has been kind enough to grant me access to the guards at the keep, made our way to The Storied Blade. I was fortunate to meet a kind Knight who gave me suggestions on how to pick a dagger, and even provided me with a list of potential tutors in the art of daggerplay. With a list in hand, it's only a matter of time before I can negotiate lessons.

The Nox embassy party was a delight. I'm sure much will be written on such an historic event, but I would say the highlights included the speech contest and the (private) lounging contest. Also, that Prince Tyrval may deserve a medal for the heroics of his departure.

Slowly, far too slowly, am I recovering from my 'trip'. I wasn't sure if I would make the Harthall dinner this week, let alone enjoy the company for my weakness. Fortunate for me, I did both, actually. I met a few more cousins and heard of more around Arx. I hope to run into them soon.

It's a bit of a curiosity that after all this time that I've found myself wandering back and forth between Arx and Maelstrom, that I have yet to find myself a protege. Really, if any young artists or aspiring crafters are looking for somebody that's both a spirited creator and fervent supporter of Jayus and purveyor of the arts, than you needn't look any further than myself! On the tour of the Embassy it was lavishly constructed for different tastes, like much of the city is. I had many questions and doubtful any would be answered.

I have meet so many different people since I have come to Arx, I meet a knight named Sir Jeffeth, I meet a Prince named Gareth whom I am currently making a outfit for and many more. But the one person I am very happy to have finally gotten to talk to is Marquis Gaston. I was very surprised that he remembered me. It had been so long since I had last spoken with him I was a young girl, its good to be able to know someone in such a big place as the city. Soon I will be opening my shop and I look forward to making things for the people of Arx.

I'm still in the market for a patron. I feel like it's time to get off my ass and start putting in some work to finding a new patron. Also I might be writing this because I lost the letters from the few who were interested, and I know there are some people who are rumored to be interested but never reached out to me.
