Upon my evening the other night, I was sent a query, noting that I was to receive a gift for my war efforts in the battles at Setarco. I found myself intrigued and did attend the event in the Grayson ward of our fine city. I arrived just as my name was called and was presented with a rather remarkable bottle of gin as a thank you. Quite pleased was I and then I sat down to read about all the people that were involved and so noted.
Scrolling down to my name I did discover that I was listed as a warrior. Rather exciting to hear of such things, now I did attend Setarco at the head of a sizable force of Igniseri soldiers, cavalry, and the like, but I suppose compared to the other glorious and skilled commanders upon the field that I simply paled in comparison to them. Apparently it was only my skills as a warrior that stood out among those accounting for such things.
Surprisingly I do not feel slighted by this, but it leaves me curious about the paths before me and to which direction I shall focus mine life unto now.

I got a very pretty pair of earrings from Princess Reese and the Graysons, in recognition for my service in the Stormwall campaign. I like them a great deal! More than that, though, it was good to see the deeds and service of those who'd marched and fought honored. The scars of Stormwall and Setarco will be with us for a long time, and we shall always grieve those we lost. But we'll remember, too, and ceremonies like this help with that.

My dear cousin Liliana, an unexpected arrival in Arx, though it comes with its own tragedy. We have welcomed her here and already she has proven her worth as she reaches out and becomes the Manager of the Harthall office of Internal Procurement. Today marks the opening of the Embassy to the Nox'alfar. A strange building, but a place to make peace is a fine place to have.

The good will and generosity of the people of Arx never fails to amaze and humble me.
Last night's fundraiser was such a success! I cannot even express how happy and grateful I am. It is truly wonderful to see so many come together for such a good cause. My heart sings to know that we will be helping so many in need.
We are awaiting our final donations, but I am so honored and grateful for the support of my Hart has received thus far. I cannot wait to thank everyone properly. I am humbled by your kindness.

In my first steps towards becoming more than nust a soldier, a warrior, and a smith, I'm seeking out tutors to... Teach me how to tutor people. I remember well the training I received from many luminaries of their fields when I first came to Arx, and I look forward to paying that forward.
In other news, that means I'm looking for good teachers. If anyone has services to offer, I'm sure they know how to reach me if they're reading my whites.

I wasn't able to make it to the Grayson Ceremony celebrating the victory in the recent war, but I nonetheless received a small parcel containing some tokens from Princess Reese. I am ever grateful. And I wish I'd been there.

Before the hour arrives, I thought it important to record my thoughts about the Nox'alfar Embassy opening.
First and foremost, I am honored to have been given the chance to see this project through to the end. It has been a labor of love, something I have thought nothing else of since it's inception. It has kept me awake, it has made me frustrated to no end, it has made me cry and laugh and find joys in the small nuances that is life. I have learned so much regarding the Nox'alfar, grown to appreciate their humor (cheers to whomever keeps moving all the furniture around after I have set up the main hall time and time again), and worried over causing insult that was never intentional either by being too much or far too little.
I can not express how honored I was to work with everyone who helped make the Embassy what it is. The city truly came together to sponsor the building and designing of each room and I can not be prouder of the never ending work and dedication seen in making this not only a building but a symbol of our continued alliance with the Nox'alfar.
In the end, it is what it is. I can do no more but open the doors to the Embassy and welcome the city within it's halls to see what countless hours have created. Then, a long needed vacation.
