No, not as a visitor. I went to the battle, to try to help out. House Ashford brought rangers to help protect the healers and the injured, and I went to offer my support to all those who were fighting. I've never done that before - it was terrifying. I think maybe I helped those brave fighters near me to continue to fight. To get into the fight. To succeed.
Before I got hit by a rampaging - well, I'm not sure what hit me, but it hurt. And I ended up in the medical tent for the rest of things.
Perhaps next time I shall - what? Well, yes, of course i hope there's no next time.
But if there is, I shall be better prepared!

Relationship Note on Liara
One thing was certain to me as I watched Princess Liara lead the army: This is how we are different from our enemies. We do not send our people to the slaughter. We stand beside them on the battlefield as one. We fight for our homes and are not afraid to get our hands dirty.
This is why we will prevail.

"How I long for wooden deck, to sail upon the sea,
A salty breeze upon my face to let me know I'm free.
A fiery sky to sail beneath as another day is done,
Turn your sails to face the west and sail into the sun. ~Hali Harvey.

Number 1: When people of passion and belief in a common cause come together, amazing things can be achieved.
Number 2: Unless ropes are tied to rigging, don't touch them.
Number 3: Fighting in snow, not a fan. It's cold. Real cold. Tho it does make the fall easier when you get sent into the air. Did I mention it's cold?
Number 4: Don't drink too much of whatever Lucrezia pours in your mug.
Number 5: I'll never look at a swan the same way again. Scarred for life. Flappity nightmares.
Number 6: Swing less. Duck more.
Number 7: The bigger they are, the harder they fall.
Number 8: I think I may have a wanton disregard for my own safety. Wait, I knew that already.
Number 9: Nothing like the taste of your own blood to piss you off.
Number 10: It will take Bastion a while to be what it once was, but I have no doubt its leadership and people will do all they can to achieve this.

I'm making two dresses for a wonderful Lady; one for the masquerade and one for the Bastion Celebration. I do miss making clothes.

Actually I'm sure all of House Ravenseye is jumping for joy at that last part.
This is where I would be deviously grinning!
Love you Rosalind

Please make sure that Atramentous and Cale are returned to Highhill. After Seth died there and we found Cale again I'd be remiss for him to have to go through uncertainty.
Please sell my belongings and donate the money to those that need it or to restoring Bastion.
Someone tell Arik it's his fault. (It is a joke between us, please do not think me odd for the in-joke with my brother-in-law)

Something ... blue.
Something appropriate of this weather, without surrendering the majesty of my body -- after all, to cover all of this up would be tantamount to denying the rabble their view of the sunrise in these otherwise dark and seemingly hopeless times.
Goodness, sometimes I think the sight of me is the only thing keeping these people going.
It's kind of me to suffer the chill to bring that light to their sad little lives.
